Vikrant's POV

There's nothing half so pleasant as coming home again. We came back home last night. It feels so good to be back home. Mom wanted me to stay back at the Shergill mansion though I wanted to stay in my apartment. But once I said I want to live in my apartment Arushi gave a bizarre reaction.

"I'll move out if he wants to stay there." she said to mom. Why was she giving such reactions to everything? Yesterday to Neha and today to Mom.

Why would she move out? I never told that she needs to move out. I guess we are still married right? She is still my wife. Why wouldn't she want to live with me?

'Because you were the one to like leave living with her.'

Ok.... my mind has started mocking a lot at me I guess it needs to shut a bit.

So yeah here I am at the Shergill mansion. I took a shower with great difficulty because of this dislocated shoulder. It's really very infuriating at a times. I am not even able to wear a shirt now.

'knock....knock' I heard someone knocking on the door. This shirt is already troubling me and who is it now. Aarrggghhhh.

"Come in." I said still struggling with my shirt.

"Umm..mm...Mom is calling you down for breakfast." I heard Arushi's voice? She went back to the apartment last night right? What is she doing here? Or am I hallucinating?

I snapped my eyes towards the door. Ok am I really dreaming? Arushi.... that too in a saree? But damn she looks so beautiful in that cream floral saree.

"Umm

"Umm...you need some help?" she said breaking my staring session and pointing towards my shirt.

"No...actually umm...Ya please." I stuttered because I have struggled enough with this stupid shirt.

She came ahead and held the rim of my shirt and started helping me. She still uses the same citrus and rose perfume. Her face was still the same just a little bags under her eyes yet she looks as mesmerising as she looked on the first day I met her. That feeling of having her so close to me was like nostalgia. Her hair were flowing down her shoulders with some strands on her face obstructing my vision of her deep black eyes.

"It's done" she said after buttoning up the last button of the shirt.

"Thank you.....How come saree?" I asked wanting to keep the conversation alive. I really wanted to talk to her.

"Need to give a presentation at a fund raising event so."

"Oh...All the best."

"Thank you" she said and started walking out even before I could speak anything else. Why is she running away from me all the time. I want to talk to her so let's just keep this conversation on.
