As they entered town, fearful faces looked up at her. Frisk gulped as she stepped forward and tried to begin a speech to calm the citizens down and explain what was happening. "Don't worry, I already heard that Mayor Ennis has been notified of this. He should be here soon." said a woman to the man standing next to her.
Frisk had seen mayor of the small town occasionally. Mostly at big events or town announcements. He was a big man with a brown beard and a shaved head. There where rumors that he had tattoos because he was never caught wearing short sleeves. But nonetheless, she had heard of him to be kind and generous. He also had his fair share of humor.
This calmed Frisk's nerves a bit. "One step at a time Frisk, one step at a time." She had hardly paid any attention to her friends as she had been focusing on calming the hectic town down a bit. That was until Papyrus turned to Frisk with tears in his eyes and said, "HUMAN....... WHY DON'T THEY LIKE US?" This broke Frisk's heart. Forcing a smile upon her face, she said with a cheery voice, "Papyrus, they just weren't expecting you! They just wanted to be prepared for the great Papyrus to come and have everything ready, trust me."
Just then, a huge fancy car pulled up and the mayor steped out. "This is the next step," Toriel said beneath her breath. Here we go.
