Flowey POV:
"Frisk! I think I found what we were missing, I-" She was gone. And so was the blueprint. I cursed under my breath and guessed that the search party had finally caught up to her. Everything had been so chaotic recently, and I was able to slip out of the Dreemurr house without being noticed.
When I found out that Frisk went missing, I searched and searched until I was finally able to find her. She explained the situation to me, and I immediately began to help her with her project. Both her and Chara meant so much to me, I couldn't just walk away. I sighed and began to search once again, of where Frisk had gone.
Frisk POV:
Once everybody had laid their eyes on me, there was a silence, though it was short lived. "Frisk?" Toriel choked out, tears streaming down her cheeks. She then attacked me with a hug, and sobbed into my shoulder. "I'm so glad you're safe..." I hugged back, and the hug quickly turned into a group hug.

Frisk POV:
"Nobody's noticed." I stated, staring at Sans. "I know," He replied, glancing at me for a moment before returning his gaze to the checkered kitchen tile. "If... if you were to get Chara back, do you think you would no longer be..." He paused gesturing towards me. "This... a gray..."
I chuckled, and continued to rip out the loose treads from my striped pajama pants. They used to be moms. "It would certainly help," I said, though knowing that yes, it may help, but now that I was almost a gray, I knew I couldn't be fixed. I was far too damaged. But, it would get Chara back.
"Okay... well, tomorrow we could go back, fix up that machine, and see what we can do. Okay? But only if you really think it would help." I bobbed my head up and down, ripping another thread from my pants. "Why... why do you want her back anyway? After all that she had done to you?"
I wiped my nose, and shrugged, trying to play it off cool."She's good. I know, you think she's anything but that, but, she's good," There was a pause. Sans opened his mouth to speak, but I interrupted. "She's like me." Sans looked up at me, and clenched his fists.
"She's nothing like you. You didn't go around killing innocent monsters. Killing my brother." His last sentence was laced with venom, and I shivered. "But I did," I whispered, not bothering to look at Sans. I already knew what his expression would look like, full of anger, frustration, and confusion.
"At least in the beginning. After Toriel, I..." I paused, not knowing how to explain. "And not only in the underground, Sans. I've killed, not physically, but mentally. I had someone, I hated so much, I wanted nothing more then for them to die. Possibly similar to how you feel about Chara," I wiped my eyes gently. "My words made him suffer so much. And I still hate him." I clenched my fists so hard I was worried my fingernails might puncture my palms.
Sans said nothing, but layed his hand on mine. We stayed like that for a minute or two, until the door swung open. It was the middle of the night, everybody was asleep, Sans had teleported over. I looked behind me, but Sans had already gone into the living room to investigate. "Jesus Christ, Jeremy, you scared me."
My eyes got wide and I was filled with fear, hatred. The man I had hated, was Jeremy. I got up and walked to the living room. I expected to be brave, and strong. But I was anything but that. I was frightened, I was shaking, I wanted to cry. Jeremy chuckled, and looked me in the eyes. "Frisk! I'm so glad you're safe!" I balled up my fists.
This time, he wouldn't hurt me. This time, I would fight back. "Why are you here? What do you want, Jeremy." He smiled crookedly, and opened his arms. "Frisk... I'm sorry. I was a bad father, I know that. You don't have to forgive me." I stepped back. "Father?" Sans looked confused. "I thought you were her uncle?"
Jeremy scratched the back of his neck. He always did that, when he was stressed or nervous. "Well, yes, I did say that, didn't I? I was afraid you might not let me see Frisk if you knew who I was." Sans shook his head. "Why wouldn't I? ...what did you do?"
I scratched the back of my neck, but quickly stopped myself. I'm not like him. No way. But the resemblance was definitely there. Our hair shade matched perfectly, and when I was angry or upset, I made the same face as he did. "I... as I said before, I was not a good man. After Sarah passed, I drank, and I..." He turned away and dabbed at his face. I had only seen him cry once before, when my mothers heart monitor had run straight.
"I'm so sorry, Frisk." I wasn't sure if he meant it. It was too good to be true. "You're a nutcase." I whispered, as I stomped to my room. I could have said worse things, I wanted to say worse things. But, the truth was, seeing him cry made me hurt. It shouldn't have, after all he had done to me.
I went to my room, slammed the door, and curled up in my covers, and cried. Just go to sleep... I told myself. Tomorrow, for the first time in awhile, I would wake up with no pain. I would wake up with simply nothing.
