Mayor Ennis stepped out his slick, black car and waved to all of the citizens gathered around the monsters. He immediately put his bodyguards to work as they started putting up barriers so no one could get near to the group of terrified monsters. "Hello! I am mayor of Town Ebbot. Feel free to call me Ennis. Now, let's take a little trip to my office."

"He doesn't seem like he means any harm to us......," Frisk gave a weak smile to the big man. Maybe things would be easier then she thought.

~Time skip - A few months later - Present day~

The rest of that day was mostly talking with Mayor Ennis of all that had happened and what was to come. He was kind and understanding. He let the monsters have their own little town not far from the humans town. Everything was good. Except for Frisk. Constant nightmares would keep her from sleeping and she always was stressed about how humans were treating the monsters. Everyone was always so busy these days too, which didn't seem to help ease Frisk's mind. There seemed to be none existing that could be defined as lazy.

Except for Sans. But when was he ever not lazy? He was the only one who had noticed Frisk's struggle. So, he decided to confront her. "Heya, kid." Frisk giggled softly, and replied, "Yes Sans? Everything alright?" There she goes again, thought Sans. Caring about everyone else but not looking out for herself. "Kid, you've been working yourself down to the BONE lately, you alright?" Frisk laughed, then opened her mouth to say something but held back. "Sans, what do you mean? I'm happy. I'm fine." Frisk winced. That was the very first lie she had ever told anyone. Her first mistake.

Sans seemed to notice her pull back. ".......kid." He looked her directly in the face and said in a strict, fierce, way, "Tell me the truth." Frisk was taken back. Normally people would just accept her answer and not try to dig for more information.

Why was he doing this? She didn't even know how to respond. Sans sighed and said in a more soft tone, "Let's go for a walk." Soon they arrived in waterfall back underground rather then the hectic surface. This was Frisk's favorite place of all time. She began to softly pet the beautiful echo flowers. This was when Sans decided to dig for more information. He began to say something but Frisk interrupted by saying, "Sans, you don't have to ask just to seem kind. I know you all too well." Or at least she thought so.

Sans sighed, realizing he wasn't going to get anything out of her. "Kid, I'm not gonna make you tell me anything, but when you're ready to tell me, I'll be here." This made Frisk smile. Gosh, she was so lucky to have such a good friend. Thank you, Sans." Knowing this made her mind ease, and she even took a small break off being ambassador. Who could've ever known that taking one night off could make such a big difference? No wonder Sans was so lazy.
