The sun fell on Frisk's closed eyelids. She opened her eyes reluctantly, and saw that Sans was right beside her. She sighed and headed over to her restroom to wash up. After Frisk had gotten ready for the day, she left the the skeleton asleep and walked over to the kitchen. Toriel smiled and offered Frisk a seat. After Frisk was served a steaming plate of bacon and eggs, Toriel said softly, "I was planning on taking a small break off of work. Maybe some family time, you know?" Frisk smiled. "And Asgore too?" Toriel chuckled softly, "Why, of course!" As Frisk ate her breakfast, her and the soft goat lady talked about books, snails, and a wide variety of other things as well.
As soon as Frisk had finished, she skipped back up to her room and shook the sleepy bonehead awake. Sans opened his eyes slowly. As soon as he saw Frisk, he immediately closed his eyes again. "Just thirty more minutes?" Frisk's expression turned cold as she said harshly, "No! Your brother is probably worried sick! Plus I have work to do. You can't just sleep in my room all day." He opened one eye socket and looked at Frisk smirking, "Well, why not?" Immediately after that remark she pushed him off the bed angrily.
"Omph!" He landed on the floor with a large thump. Cursing under his breath (in wingdings of course), he slumped out the room with an annoyed expression. "Adios." He teleported to his room and fell on the soft mattress. He was tempted to fall asleep again, but knew he had work to do. Even though it was an easy job that didn't take much time at all, he still found it quite exhausting. Everyone was not prepared for what that day held.
