Frisk was absolutely exhausted the day after her nightmare. She had read all though the night, somehow not falling asleep once. Frisk didn't remember most of her morning, for everything seemed foggy from the lack of sleep. "Well. come on Frisk! Today was is going to be a busy day! We can't let the rain stop us!" Asgore's kind smile helped Frisk stay DETERMINED to finish the day, and most importantly, not fall asleep. Both Frisk and Asgore stepped into the petite truck that Asogre used to carry fertilizer, flowers, and many other necessities for his new flower shop. The ride was quiet. The loud banging of the raindrops on the windshield prevented any discussion.
Once they arrived to the office where they would be meeting will Mayor Ennis, they grabbed the small umbrella Toriel had provided them with. They got inside completely dry due to the huge umbrella. "Well, Ennis said that the meeting would be in room 402 on floor 3. What a big office!" Frisk laughed out loud at Asgore's excitement. Frisk couldn't think of a good response to say to Asgore, for her half-asleep mind was barley functioning. "Oh! We better be heading up. We don't want to be late now, do we?" Frisk shook her head and followed the big monster into the elevator.
I've got to find a way to stop these nightmares. I'm so exhausted. Maybe form an alliance of some sort with Chara? "No can do Partner!" My blood boiled, I just wanted to sleep. She wasn't even going to let me do that? "I wasn't talking to you, Chara!" I nearly screamed it, and my voice echoed in the small elevator. Asogre looked at me horrified. "W.....what did you say? Chara?" Frisk looked up at him and forced a smile. "You must've misheard. I didn't say anything, and who is Chara?" "That was a terrible lie! Ha ha, you crack me up, partner." Stop calling me that, Chara. "I'll call you whatever I want. Partner."
*Ding!* The doors to the elevator opened, and we both stepped out. Well, me, Chara, and Asgore. She was now floating beside me, looking around with curiosity. I sighed, and tried my best to ignore her. "Dad, are you okay? You've been really silent ever since-" "Ah! Here's the room." Asgore walked into the room without another word. I looked around the empty hallway, and zoned out for a second. I was so zoned out it felt as if I was laying on the ground with Nabstablook again.
Is Dad mad at me? Is he sad? No, probably not sad. Well, maybe, I mean I did lie to him. He is my legal parent so he has every right to- "Frisk! The meeting is starting!" I whipped my head around and walked quickly into the room. I took a seat next to Asgore, and looked around. Why is everybody staring at me? "Ahem." At the very front of the room was Mayor Ennis. He smiled at me for a second before continuing on. "Frisk, Asgore, thank you for joining us. What we came here to discuss were the plans of expanding the city, the reasons for doing this are-" Why did we need to come to this again? I put my cheek on my palm, and rested my eyes for a moment. Just a moment. I'll open my eyes in a second. I'm so tired, just a moment, please.

"I'll be alright."
"Don't worry."
"Leave me alone!"
"No wonder she died, she had a terrible daughter."
"It's just the truth, Frisk."
"We'll take care of you."
No.....
No...!
NO!

I woke up gasping for air. I took in a shaky breath, and looked around to see where I was. Everybody was staring at me, and Asgore had his strong hand on my back. "Are you alright? Do you want to go home?" Ah, the meeting. Asgore looked at me worriedly, as if the whole lie thing had never happened. "I'm okay." The words barley rasped out of my throat, and I immediately looked up at Asgore to see if he had noticed. He seemed extremely concerned. He looked up at Mayor Ennis who also seemed to be worried. It took all the energy out of me, but i managed to fake a laugh. "Really guys! I'm alright. Please don't worry about me."
Mayor Ennis let our a long sigh, and began to speak, "Frisk, it's unlike you to sleep during a meeting. And you kept on saying, 'No' over and over again. It must've been a pretty bad nightmare." I looked at him before finally admitting the truth. "Well, yes, I did have a nightmare. But those happen to everybody, so it's alright." Asgore cleared his throat. "I trust Frisk. If she wasn't okay, she would admit it. I think we should just continue the meeting." Mayor Ennis just shook his head and continued on with his presentation. But everybody still seemed to be staring at me.
