After that, the meeting didn't seem to go all that well. Everyone seemed to be off focus, and Frisk was still busy thinking about her dream. Chara? "Yes?" Did you cause that nightmare? Be honest. Laughed echoed in Frisk's mind. "Partner, I may not be on the best terms with you, but I still care for you. I didn't cause that nightmare. I actually wanted you to get some sleep." What? So now I'm just having nightmares? And it wasn't even Chara's doing? Frisk sighed heavily, and everyone whipped their heads around to look at her. She laughed softly. It was sort of funny how Frisk was now the center of attention just because of a small incident.
"Everybody, I can see we are all a bit unfocused. Maybe we should just reschedule this discussion for tomorrow." Mayor Ennis said this a bit quietly, as if he were ashamed to cancel the meeting. Everyone nodded and quickly packed their belongings. Asgore looked at Frisk with a soft expression and said calmly, "Ready to go?" Frisk looked down in shame. "I'm sorry for making the meeting end early. And for falling asleep. I didn't mean to." Frisk really did feel bad, that these dreams were not only affecting her life, but now the lives of others. Asgore smiled and chuckled. "It's not your fault. Why are you so tired though?"
Frisk stood up and trotted out the door as she spoke. "Well, I guess I just fell asleep late last night. It won't happen again." Asgore nodded as he followed Frisk. "About what you yelled in the elevator earlier...... what did you say? And why did you yell?" Frisk looked around and sharply turned around a corner. "I don't know what your talking about." Asgore shook his head, and looked at Frisk with sad smile. "I must be getting old. Or it could possibly be short-term memory loss." Frisk stopped in her tracks. She turned to Asgore, and burst out laughing. Asgore soon started laughing as well. After they had finished laughing, they walked to out the building and to the truck without another word. The ride home was quiet, with small bits of laughed every minute or so because they still couldn't get over what Asgore said.
When they got home, it was nearly noon. Frisk lay on the couch and sighed. I'm so bored. I've got to find something to do. She picked up her phone and went through the contacts. After awhile of deciding who to call, she called Alphys. "Y-yes hello? H-how can I h-help you Frisk?" "Hey Alphys! Wanna watch anime?" Alphys whole mood seemed to lift. "A-anime? W-why of course! Y-you can c-come over now!" Frisk hung up, and got ready to leave. "MOM!" Frisk yelled loudly, hoping that Toriel would be able to hear her. "WHAT?" Toriels voice echoed throughout the whole house. "I'M GOING TO ALPHYS' TO WATCH ANIME! I'LL BE HOME LATER!" "OKAY! DON'T GET HOME TOO LATE THOUGH!" Frisk crossed her arms and shouted back, "FINE MOM!" And with that Frisk walked out the door and began walking to Alphys and Undyne's house.
"Partner~" Frisk didn't even have to look to know it was Chara. What do you want? "I just wanted to talk. We used to be real good friends, you know." It was true. The very first time Frisk went through the underground, it was a pacifist run. Chara and Frisk were a team- going through the underground, figuring out puzzles, and helping out monsters. They did it all together. That was until Frisk started the genocide run. Then Chara wanted to continue the run, and took control of Frisk's body. Frisk still cared for Chara though. If she had the ability to get rid of Chara, she probably wouldn't. What do you want to talk about Chara?
Chara smiled, almost as if she were trying to be kind. "Are you going to watch anime? With the dinosaur?" Frisk held back a laugh. "She's not a dinosaur." Chara looked focused, but still followed Frisk as she walked. "Soooo, a lizard?" Frisk held her hand over her mouth, then finally spoke. Stop! She would probably be offended if you were to say something like that. "But your laughing." Just shut up. We arrived at the house, and I walked in with a smile.
