Sana POV

I was worried when I saw Y/n think about not taking Marshmallow with her, so I answered for her.

Y/n can handle many things independently but she's also very reckless.

After Y/n and Marshmallow got situated, Mr. Daesung pressed the button.

Both of them disappeared from my view. Five seconds later Mr. Daesung pressed the button again.

Y/n and Marshmallow appeared. When Y/n took off the headset she was looking around suspiciously.

Marshmallow licked her hand twice and she looked relieved but then a worry look crossed over her face.

I made my way over to her. Once she saw me, the worried look was replaced with a smile.

Aww was she worried about me?

I told her and Mr. Daesung that I was going next. When I told her though she whispered, "maybe you should let someone else go next?"

I was confused. Why couldn't I go next?

"What'd you say?" I questioned just to be sure.

Her response was completely different than before, "I said good luck."

Then Y/n pulled me into a hug. What happened in the five seconds that she was gone?? She seems to be very protective and scared.

Mr. Daesung gave me the VR headset and I adjusted it on my head. I had already shown him my pet dragon, Crusoe.

He wished me good luck before pressing the button.

I waited for something to happen but nothing did.

Sooo... Is the test for me not to take off the headset, despite any noises I hear or something?

I felt Crusoe walking from my arm to my shoulder. He used his tail to tap on my headset.

I took it off and looked around me.

Gorgeous.

It looks like the beach where my family and I vacation at. It even has that same palm tree that hangs low, making it easy to climb...

Wait a minute. Is it where my family and I vacation at. It has my family's symbol carved on the base of the palm tree.

I traced it lightly, smiling. I have so many great memories here.

My vacation house should be just behind the bushes of the palm trees.It's been quite a while since my family and I been in it.

I walked through the bushes and looked at the house. It still looks the same.

The front door of it opened by itself, making my smile vanish. I hate anything scary.

I took in a deep breath and went inside, Crusoe still on my shoulder. As soon as I went inside the front door slammed shut making me jump in fright.

"Level One: Speed." A voice said from nowhere, it sounded robotic.

The ceiling above me opened up and a soccer ball bounced down.

Um what?

The soccer ball reminded me of a childhood game I used to play in this room. I would try to make the ball stay up in the air as long as possible with my feet.

And then I broke a lamp and my parents forbade me to play it again.

Is that what I have to do?
