Chapter 30: Freed Friends

Y/n POV

"Our main objective is to free your friends," Mr. TOP whispered to the three of us.

"Can we make noise now then?" Jeongyeon whispered back.

"Yes you can. We've already reached your friends," He answered.

"I'll go first," I immediately muttered.

I started climbing down the cliff and when I was about fifteen feet above the ground, I jumped off. There was demon who was right below me. I smirked as I fell right on top of him. The demon knocked out.

We were just around the corner from the main area where the girls were chained, blocked by a wall. So, no demons noticed that I just took down one of their colleagues.

I snickered to myself as I looked at his sword. I debated whether or not to use it but decided against it. I have a sword of my own anyways.

I started creeping my way around the corner, closer to my friends. The person closest to me was Tzuyu.

She didn't notice me because she was too busy glaring at the demon who touched Momo.

The other five demons had their focus on the other girls. None were close to Tzuyu and I.

I lightly touched Tzuyu's arm. She jumped and was about to scream but I held my hand over her mouth. When she noticed it was me, she immediately calmed down.

I removed my hand and tapped my necklace. It transformed into my trusty sword. I got ready to cut off Tzuyu's chains. There was no doubt in my mind that cutting them off will make a lot of noise.

I bit my lip and aimed at her chains before looking behind me. I saw Dahyun and Jeongyeon. They climbed down safely and nodded their heads at me, telling me to cut it. I took a deep breath and brought my sword down with a lot of force. Tzuyu's chains immediately snapped and were forced open.

The sound of her chains breaking filled the area. The demons whipped around to face the four of us.

Tzuyu smirked as she was free. She glared right at the half man, half dragon demon and said, "Payback time."

"I'll free the others," I whispered to Dahyun, Jeongyeon, and Tzuyu, "Distract them."

The three of them nodded their heads and ran straight towards the demons. As they all fought, I quickly made my way to the next person next to me, Mina.

I gave her a quick smile and cut off her chains, "There."

Mina smiled back at me and nodded her head before joining the others in the fight.

Next to Mina was Nayeon. She grinned at me as I approached her. "Y/n!" She happily greeted.

I chuckled and swung my sword down against her restraints. She hugged me as soon as she was free before snapping her fingers. I watched in surprise as all of the chains on everyone else's hands and feet were off.

She smirked at my reaction and said, "I can do anything with metal. Why do you think that they gave me different chains?"

Now that she mentioned it, the chains I cut off of her were indeed different. They weren't metal but it almost looked the same.

I chuckled as I noticed all of our friends taking down the demons as a team. Mr. TOP had gotten into the fight when I got Tzuyu free. He easily took down two demons with some throwing knives.

Nayeon and I quickly joined in. I noticed the half man, half dragon demon was sneaking up on Tzuyu, who was busy taking down a large man with no face. I immediately stabbed him in the leg making him yell out in pain.
