Y/n POV

"Ms. L/n," JYP-nim greeted with a smile, "I'm glad you seem to be doing better."

I closed the door behind me and chuckled, "It's going to take more than poisoned food to kill me."

"The reason I called you in here is because I want to ask if you've been receiving threats or anything that might've suggested you to get poisoned," JYP-nim cleared his throat.

"Oh yeah," I casually answered, "I've been receiving threats to stay away from Nayeon from someone."

"Any idea who?" He sternly asked.

I shrugged, "Could be Nayeon's stalker, Josh. I'm not really confident that it's him though."

"Why not? Miss. Im has already told me about him and how he will literally do anything to get closer to her. I've placed a restraining order between the two but if there's a possibility that he poisoned you, he's as good as expelled and may face further punishment," He stated.

"I mean I just don't believe he has it in him to kill someone," I scratched my neck, "I'm not trying to protect him or anything but it's a bit much to call him a murderer."

"We'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he isn't but I will investigate into this. Our school has a new camera system, I should be able to see who got into your food," JYP-nim concluded, "That'll be all for now."

"Alright cool," I grinned and waved, "Goodbye!"

"Good-bye," He said his farewell.

I hummed and left the main office.

I felt a buzz and checked my phone. I glanced at my phone, 'That was a warning. Next time, you'll be fighting for your life.'

I sighed and took a screenshot of the text before trying to call the number.

'I'm sorry. The person you have dialed-' I growled. It was a fake number. What was I expecting?

I sent the screenshot to JYP-nim's number and explained everything as I went into the cafeteria.

"Y/nnie!" I heard someone call me over.

I looked up to see Chaeyoung waving me down with a grin. I chuckled and went to her table that was filled with all of our friends, "Hey."

"What'd JYP-nim say?" Jihyo questioned as I sat down.

"Just who I think would try to poison me," I replied.

I'm starving!

I got my wallet out to get my lunch but realized that the lunch lady already left. I frowned and sighed. I'm probably going through the whole day without eating.

I felt arms wrap around me and turned to my left to see Nayeon grinning at me. I cocked my eyebrow at me her and smiled back.

She lifted up her hand holding some fries, "Say ahhh."

"Ahhh," I opened my mouth as Nayeon fed me. I did my happy dance as I ate.

Nayeon giggled, "I didn't know food made you happy enough to dance."

"Not many people do," I chuckled.

Nayeon was about feed me some more fries when half of a burger slid in front of me. Nayeon and I looked around the table to see who gave it to me. Everyone acted innocent. I shrugged and was about to take a bite from it.

Nayeon quickly took it from me. I looked at her in confusion, "What's wrong?"

"Y/n. You were just poisoned. Don't you think you should be more careful about the things you eat?" Nayeon narrowed her eyes around the table.

She did have a point. I cleared my throat and caught the attention of everyone at the table, "Guys? Did one of you give me half of a burger?"

They all looked at each other before Tzuyu hesitantly raised her hand up, "I did."

We all stared at her in surprise.

She crossed her arms and looked away in embarrassment, "What? It was obvious that you were hungry and couldn't buy anything because the lunch lady left. I didn't want you to starve."

I grinned and walked over to give her a hug, "Thank youuuu."

She blushed and lightly hugged me back, "No problem."

I settled back down next to Nayeon and Jihyo to eat the other half of Tzuyu's burger. I hummed happily as I ate.

"I need to talk to you about something," A person behind me whispered into my ear.

I turned around as I ate the last bite of the burger, "Yes, Dahyun?"

She shifted her feet nervously, "Alone."

I wiped my mouth with a tissue and nodded my head, "Okay."

We went out of the cafeteria and into the choir room. There was no one else in here.

"So what's up?" I asked as I sat down on an empty chair.

"I've been... I've been lying to you," Dahyun muttered softly and looked down at the ground.

I narrowed my eyes, "What do you mean?"

"I know who you are," She looked me right in the eyes.

I tilted my head at her, "Uhh okay? I mean I would hope you know who I am considering we've been friends for-"

"That's not what I meant," She shook her head, "I mean that they've been hiding you and from the looks of it, you don't even know what I'm talking about."

"That is correct," I frowned.

"Okay," Dahyun sighed, "Remember when we went into the castle to look for that one artifact?"

"The book? Yeah," I nodded my head.

"Well when we were looking for Tzuyu, I found a portrait of the royal family," She explained, "And I saw-"

"Hey guys!" Jeongyeon ran inside, "We have a situation! Come on!"

Dahyun huffed in disappointment.

"We'll talk about this later," I pinky promised her as we ran after Jeongyeon.

We ran down the hall and back into the cafeteria. Dahyun and I gasped as we took in the scene before us.

It looked like a battle took place here!

Chairs and tables were knocked over. Food was all over the place too! Some students were lying on the ground unconscious. Others had obvious injuries.

"What the hell happened?" I questioned Jeongyeon, "We've only been gone for four minutes!"

"A group of demons attacked us," She replied.

"How?!" Dahyun asked, "JYP-nim tripled the school security."

Dahyun and I's other immediate reaction was to look for our friend group.

Jeongyeon noticed this and softly said, "They're gone."

We both looked at her, "What do you mean?"

"The demons kidnapped them," Jeongyeon sorrowfully clarified.
