Y/n POV

I cannot believe that our mission went by without a hitch. Well, except for the part where Tzuyu, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and I went missing for a considerable amount of hours.

We were back at the school and gave our report and the artifact to JYP-nim. He said he was proud of us and that we should expect to be in more missions.

I was currently slumping in my seat in third period when I felt something hit the back of my neck.

"Ow," I muttered and caught sight of a balled up paper on the floor next to me. I turned around to see who threw it at me but everyone acted so innocently.

I picked up the paper and opened it up.

'Stay away from Nayeon. She's mine.'

Okay. I get that this person is threatening me and everything but... their penmanship! It's so nice. I mean I have okay handwriting but this is really amazing.

I wonder who it is that wants me to stay away from Nayeon.

I shrugged to myself and slipped the paper into my binder. I'll worry about it later.

I felt another paper hit the back of my neck. Seriously, again? I picked up the balled up paper and opened it.

'I mean it. There will be dire consequences if you even look at her.'

I rolled my eyes and slipped the paper into my binder. I can look and talk to whoever I want. It's not my problem if someone else is jealous that I have a close relationship with Nayeon. If anything, the fact that someone doesn't want me to look at Nayeon, makes me want to look at Nayeon.

The teacher entered the room when the bell rang, "Okay students. Will everyone please pass up the homework I assigned yesterday?"

Hold up. We had homework?!

The classroom door was thrown open in that exact moment. In came Nayeon, who looked exhausted from running.

"Ms. Im? Would you care to explain to me why you're late?" Our teacher cocked her eyebrow.

"Oh! Uh..." Nayeon tried to come up with an excuse to avoid detention but couldn't think of anything. She then looked at me with the 'help me' expression written on her face.

I playfully rolled my eyes at her before stating, "We had a talk with JYP-nim. Nayeon stayed behind to talk to him about something."

Our teacher sighed, "Please take your seat, Ms. Im."

It wasn't a total lie. We did talk to JYP-nim and Nayeon did stay behind to talk to him. But Nayeon still had plenty of time to make it to class.

Nayeon took her seat next to mine and whispered, "Thanks."

"Why are you late?" I whispered back.

"Some dude asked me out and wouldn't take no for an answer," Nayeon sighed, "Being this beautiful is a blessing and a curse."

"Pfft," I tried my best to hold in my laughter at her comment but failed.

"What? You don't think I'm beautiful?" Nayeon glared at me.

I just bursted out laughing as a response. Of course I thought she was beautiful. It's just the way she said it that made me laugh.

"Ms. Im and Ms. L/N! Principal's office!" Our teacher glared at us.

The two of us looked at her in shock.

"What? What did we do?" Nayeon frowned.

Our teacher rolled her eyes, "You two always disrupt my class!"
