Y/n POV"Y/n."
Someone was calling my name from far away but I continued to sleep.
"Y/n."
There it is again. I slightly shifted my sleeping position.
"Y/n!!!" Someone seemingly shook my body.
I bolted up, awake.
I looked around me and noticed there was nothing amiss. Everyone was fast asleep, Sana was still next to me.
Who called me then?
I looked at the grandfather clock and read the time, 3:24.
I yawned and was about to drift back asleep when I heard something.
I sat back up again and saw the pets awake looking anxious about something.
"Marshmallow?" I called out.
I looked around the living room but couldn't see my tiger. I turned my gaze back at the other pets. They look really scared.
The pets had gotten closer to their respective owners, almost like they were guarding them.
Yeah, no. I need to wake everyone up. This is creeping me out.
I shook Sana a bit and called out to her, "Sana. Sana wake up."
She yawned and rubbed her eyes, "Tired."
"Help me wake everyone else up. This could be really serious," I stated to her.
The tone of my voice seemed to wake her up because she immediately got up and shook the others awake.
"Guys! Something is spooking our pets," I whisper-yelled, "And I can't find Marshmallow."
Everyone was alert of their surroundings and turned up their senses.
"You know if we were in a movie, one of us would suggest to split up and look for Marshmallow," Jeongyeon jokingly said, trying to break the tense atmosphere.
"Jeongyeon. Now is so not the time," Nayeon deadpanned.
"Did Crusoe tell you why they're all freaked out?" I asked Sana.
"He told me that they feel something big and bad is coming," Sana said.
Crusoe flew from the floor onto Sana's shoulder and seemingly told Sana something.
Sana's eyes widened.
"What is it??" I questioned.
"The big and bad thing isn't coming," Sana croaked out, "It's already here."
We all exchanged worried glances.
Something then ran into the living room, making Nayeon scream in fright.
"Woah, relax." I told her, "it's just Marshmallow."
Nayeon clutched her heart and sighed in relief, "Oh Thank Jihyo."
"Thank me? Why?" Jihyo asked.
"You're God Jihyo," I answered.
"Uhm what?" Jihyo confusedly questioned, cocking her head.
Marshmallow lightly scratched at my leg, looking up at me with terror in her eyes.
I seriously wish I can read her thoughts like Sana can do with Crusoe.
I felt really weird.
Like.
I was being watched.
