Two weeks later - Big mama's territory

(Okay, my lovely readers for now on I'll be posting a chapter every Sunday, so I hope you guys are enjoying my story so far and continue reading it. 😁)

Leon POV

"Leon you always seem to bring me the most rarest ingredients to make my delicious sweets. Stay for a few days and we can have a Tea Party to celebrate." Big Mama proposed to me, sitting in her large chair, knowing very well I never stay long enough to attend to her ridiculous Tea Parties.

"Better yet, why don't you work under me. I know you are strong and I like strong men, Mamamama. You can even marry in to my family if that's what you prefer." Big Mama laughed, thinking I'll be pleased with her offer.

This is the first time she has ever asked me to work for her but I could never work under anyone, especially someone like her.

I am the only one who as ever denied going to Big Mama's Tea Parties and it look's like I'll be the first to decline her offer to join her and lived to tell the tale.

I did my best not to show an arrogant smirk because she knows if she kills me she would lose a lot of items for her favorite desserts that no one else could deliver to her but me. Not that she could kill me even if she tried but I'm also a very important person to a lot of very powerful people.

"I'm sorry Big Mama but I must sadly decline. I must be on my way to my next destination but thank you for the ginormous offer."

I bowed my head showing respect, "I hope the ingredients are to your liking and if their is anything new you would like me to get you don't hesitate to call me." I said in a professional persona showing no other emotion.

"You always deliver everything that I always ask for but it's just to bad you can't stay or join my crew. Maybe next time then." Big mama murmured, looking extremely unhappy but she didn't say anything else other then stuffing her face with sweets.

"I must be on my way. I'll see you on my next delivery." I bowed my head once more. "Mamamama, I'm looking forward to it." She laughed menacingly as I left the room, causing a shiver to go down my spine.

Katakuri POV

I walked into the room after Leon left because Mama ordered to see me. Big Mama's eyes landed on me the moment I walked in but she didn't stop eating her sweets. I could tell she was upset so I stayed quiet waiting for her to speak to me first.

"Katakuri, do you know anything about Leon?" Big Mama asked staring at the door Leon left out of.

"No Mama, just that he’s a notorious pirate and delivers rare ingredients to you." I bluntly stated, wondering what she's getting at.

"That's all I know about him as well. He is a mysterious man and mysterious men have things to hide. I want to know what it is. I do not think it's fair that he knows everything about us but we know nothing about him. Do you think it is fair?" Big Mama asked me seriously.

"No Mama, I do not think it's fair." I relied, giving her the answer she wanted to hear. I can already tell where this conversation is heading.

"I don't even know what his devil fruit power is or what family he belongs to. I know nothing about our delivery boy other than his name, which could be a fake name for all I know."

Big Mama growled, getting more frustrated by the second, "and you want to know what the worst part is?! He refused my offer to join me, to have Leon at my side would make us even more powerful but he won't even except coming to one of my Tea Parties. Do you know how insulting that is!" Big mama screamed, stuffing her face with even more sweets as her aura made the room go dark.

"Katakuri! Find out what he is hiding, we may be able to use whatever it is he's hiding against him then Leon will have no choice but to work under me." Big Mama happily celebrated like a little girl getting a new toy for the first time.

"Yes, Mama." I agreed about to leave the room to start on my mission.

"Do not fail me, my son. Bring back whatever it is he's hiding and don't come back until you have it." Big Mama roared, leaning into my face that was half covered by my scarf.

"Yes, Mama. I will not fail you." I said sternly already knowing Leon will give me one hell of a challenge.

I couldn’t help but crack a smiled behind my scarf. Finally a real challenge and Leon has a reputation for never losing a battle. I’m looking forward to this mission already.

"I'll make him pay for insulting me again and again, Mamamama. Oh, and Katakuri don't underestimate Leon or you may end up paying with your life." Big Mama laughed coldly as I left the room with her last words still lingering in my head.
