Temptation

Theo POV

I roamed my eyes over the sleeping beauty in my arms and I held her ever so tightly to my chest as I nuzzled my nose into her hair, deeply inhaling the lovely aroma emitting off of her body. I couldn’t resist running my tongue up the length of her rosy cheek, tasting her salty dry tears and intently my taste buds fell in love with the taste of her.

I have longed for the perfect woman and now that she is finally mine, it’s almost impossible for me to keep my impulses in check but if I don’t stop now, the bulge in my pants will continue to grow. I let out a groan of frustration but eventually I laid her down on her new bed, kissing her forehead gently.

All I want to do is tear off this dress and make her mine right now but what kind of gentlemen would I be if I force myself upon her? I let out a disappointing sigh, I have been patient for years, looking for my better half and now I have found her. I grazed my fingers up her smooth leg, all the way up to her inner thigh and stopped at the hem of her panties. A low growl erupted inside of my chest, if I don’t stop, I’m not confident I’ll be able to hold myself back. I forced myself to pull my hand out of her dress. I can afford to be patient a little longer.

I puffed out my impure motives and decided to distract myself by grabbing the little gift box my Uncle Hamlin gave to me to give to her and I opened it. Inside the little black box was a gorgeous silver and gold clamp bracelet specifically designed for Fae. I let out another sigh and lifted her hand into mine, placing the bracelet around her wrist and I clamped in tight onto her skin.

Uncle Hamlin told me that it won’t take away her ability’s but it will cut her energy in half and slow her down rapidly. I smiled fondly down at her as I ran my fingers through her silky hair.

No harm in being cautious but I hate that I had to ask that old geezer for a favor and now I’m stuck having to go to his ridiculous Ball Party in a few weeks. I snarled in detest, and he wants me to bring Fae along. Honestly, he's a mad man if he thinks I’ll hand her over to him just for the sake of science.

I gripped her hand tight in mine, I personally don’t care that she has something he wants. She’s mine and I don’t plan on sharing what’s mine to anyone even if it’s for the sake of the World Government.

Tender moans escaping her soft lips, pulled me out of my thoughts and I watched her small frame curl into a perfect ball as pitiful whimpers filled my ears. I knew she was probably having nightmares of today’s earlier events.

A smirk formed on my lips when I recalled the terror in her eyes. She could sense me everytime I was around and I don't recall anyone ever being able to do that before. Not to mention, when her soft grey eyes landed on me earlier, she saw me, not the fake kind smile I normally wear out of habit but me.

I'll admit it scared the hell out of me for a moment but only for a moment and normally, I would like to believe I mask my presence pretty well, it's how I manage to get close to my enemies without being detected but I wasn't capable of hiding it from her. She always knew exactly where I was each and everytime. If that doesn't prove we were made for one another then I don't know what will.

I climbed in to her bed beside her and pulled her warm petite body against my chest, making sure not to crush her as I held her tight in my arms. Her neck was exposed to me and I wasn’t able to resist the temptation of licking her soft delicate skin. I felt her body shutter against me and a low growl rumbled in my throat but I shooed away my lustful thoughts and hummed a light tone until her whimpering stopped and not long after, I fell asleep along side her.
