Fae POV
We walked side by side in silence. She didn’t say a word to me, she didn’t even so much as glance up at me. “What is your name?” I asked her curiosity. She froze and her eyes darted every where’s but at me. “I-I’m A-Alex.” She uttered nervously. “D-did I do s-something wrong, y-young miss?”
“What? No, of course not. I was just trying to create small talk.” I smiled at her softly. She gave me a small smile back, “n-no one normally talks to me unless it’s an order to do something.” She blushed shyly looking down at her feet.
How awful. “Well, that’s just going to have to change. Let’s be friends! My name is Fae, by the way!” I titled my head smiling into her face. “O-okay. If that’s what you would like, Lady Fae.” She hesitated but eventually she gave me a genuine smile.
“Of course that’s what I would like but please, just call me Fae. Can I call you Alex?” I asked and she nodded her head.
“Well, Alex do you mind if we take a detour to the ocean? Azure needs to feed.” I said a tad bit sad because I won't be able to see Azure for the next few days.
“Oh, of course. I know a short cut, follow me.” She said kindly. “I never seen such a beautiful creature before. Do you mind if I pet him?” She asked and Azure beamed with happiness when she called him beautiful.
I giggled, “no, not at all he loves beautiful women.” I admitted and she laughed petting Azure head gently. He leaned into her hand and rumbled. I couldn’t help but smile, “he likes you.” I told her as she stopped in front of a medal door. She smiled, “I like him too and we are here. This is the door that leads to the ocean.” She pushed opened the door and I could hear and smell the ocean. I walked out onto the small deck and Azure was happy as I gently laid in into the sea. He told me he would be back in a few days and I nodded my head trying not to cry, “I’ll listen for your singing.” I said already missing him after he disappeared into the water.
“Thank you.” I smiled with my eyes closed trying to hold back the tears. She nodded her head giving me a gentle smile. I knew he would be back but I couldn’t help but feel a little lonely without him. We walked in silence for a few minutes before I finally opened my mouth.
“So, Alex. How long have you wor-" My face came in contact with two large soft marshmallows. When I looked up I realized I walked into a woman’s chest. I hurried and took a step back, “I-I’m so sorry.” She shoved me hard away from her. “Watch were your walking, pest.” She hissed glaring down at me. For once I was glad Azure wasn’t here at this moment.
Her face was caked in make-up but it didn’t take an inch away from her beauty. She had on a beautiful long purple dress that laced up her curvy body. Her persian green hair was long and wavy and it complimented her bright gold eyes. Her breast were humongous as she towered a few inches over me. In my vocabulary she was definitely the definition of sexy.
“Alex, you stupid girl. How dare you allow such trash to touch me. Now I have no choice but to take another bath to wash this filth off.” She looked at me as if I was lower then dirt.
Wow, want a flippant woman.
“Alex, escort me back to my room and run me a bath.” She said rudely flinging her hair behind her back.
“O-oh, I-I must escort-"
Her gold eyes narrowed down at Alex, “I didn’t ask you to speak! I told you to escort me. Now do it.” She got into Alex’s face. “Or do I have to remind you that I can have your job,” she snapped her fingers together, “like that.”
“If you don’t want to be kicked out on the streets and lose that pathetic maid outfit that your so fond of then, I suggest you get your ass in gear.” She sneered down at Alex who was cowering under her gaze.
