Chapter 11

Finally our first day of filming is over. It was a long, exhausting day but we're all very optimistic. The actors are done for the day but us, crew, we still have a lot of preparations for tomorrow. The next few months I'll never get any sleep but it'll be so worth it.

"Hey, we're going for a drink after my shower," Hero whispers in my ear. He kisses my cheek.

"Okay, I still have some work to do."

Hero whimpers. "I want to have a drink with you!"

"Sorry," I smile and give him a small kiss.

"Join me afterwards?"

"Okay, I'll text you!"

The actors all leave and we have a meeting with Liam and Greg. Scott, the other assistant, and me take notes and prepare the sets. I go to wardrobe and make-up to discuss the final schedule for tomorrow and we make sure everyone has the correct call sheet. I'm really tired but up for a drink after a hard day's work.

"I'm meeting Hero for a drink," I say to Scott and Isabella. "Do you want to come?"

"I'm not drinking with the actors", Isabella says. "Melany wouldn't like it. She's awful!"

"Melany doesn't have a say in this."

"Uhh yeah she does!" Isabella replies.

"She might tolerate you because you're dating Hero but she will never tolerate us. She feels like she's so much better than us," Scott adds.

"Oohh she hates me. She will never tolerate me! She was chasing after Hero last year but he picked me." I smile when I see their big eyes.

"Damn girl," Scott whistles. "Mark my words, she will destroy you."

"We'll see." It takes some persuading but they follow me in the end. When we walk to the bar I tell them what happened. They're very thrilled that someone finally stood up against her. They've worked with her before and she's a handful. She doesn't have any respect for the other people working on the film.

They were very right though. As soon as we walk in the lobby bar Melany's face drops. I'm pleased to see that she's not sitting next to Hero.

"Hey baby," I look in her eyes right before I sit down on Hero's lap and press my lips against his. He gasps in surprise but kisses me back. It was so hard today to hold back! I've missed kissing him! I'm addicted and I know it.

"Ugh," Melany replies.

"Hi guys," Josh says with a cheery voice. "Take a seat!" He pulls a chair closer and offers it to Scott. Hero orders a next round of drinks and everyone seems to get along, except for Melany. She hasn't said a word since we've arrived.

"Is something wrong Mel?" Hero asks with an innocent voice. "You're very quiet."

"I think I'll go to my room," she says with a stiff voice. When no one urges her to stay, not Hero, not Josh, she stands up. I try to hide my smile but it's very difficult.

"Well then," she says again.

"See ya tomorrow Mel!" Josh says and goes back to talking to Scott. Isabella and I look at each other and we burst out. The situation is too funny. This makes Melany furious, obviously and she turns red. Hero gives her a warning look and she leaves without another word.

"Now she'll hate you even more!" Isabella says.

"Not possible." I smile.

"Just be careful honey," Scott says. "She's a mean backstabbing bitch."
