"Go inside, I'll be there soon," Hero whispers in my ear before kissing me on the head. Reluctantly I oblige. I can't stomach being around her any longer and I didn't like the smile on her face. Once I'm inside his trailer, I pace back and forth. Hero doesn't take long to follow me.

"What did she want?" I ask as soon as he walks in.

"She just had a question about this afternoon." I keep pacing back and forth without replying. I hate that bitch so much!

"Baby, come here." He says and wraps his arms around me. "You need to remember that she never was competition. I never loved her and the moment I laid eyes on you, no girl would ever have a chance." I look at him and he pushes a string of hair behind my ear.

"I'm sorry," I say.

"That's okay," he sniggers. "We're terrible. I was jealous earlier, now you are." I laugh as well.

"We're terrible." I agree and I squeeze him tight. "Okay, I need to go." I give him a quick kiss and turn around.

"Wait a second." He grabs my wrist and turns me back around. "Give me a proper kiss," he whispers just before pressing his lips against mine. His hands run through my hair as he pushes his tongue inside. After the kiss I'm a bit light headed. I walk to my meeting with the silliest smile on my face. I'm so addicted to this boy.

My afternoon is very busy and I don't have the time to think about Hero and Melany. Time flies by in a heartbeat. I'm helping out the people from the costume department when Hero pops in.

"Hero!" I say with a big smile on my face.

"Hey baby, I just wanted to let you know that we're having rehearsals all night. I won't be able to meet you for dinner."

"Oh, that's okay. I'll just stay here and help some more." I try to act cheerful but I'm a bit disappointed.

"Don't be mad, I'll make it up to you," he says with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Shh!" I'm worried someone will hear his dirty talk. He plants a kiss on my forehead and walks away laughing. Me being shy is very amusing to him. I help out longer than they asked to so the people of the costume department can finish early. After I share my dinner with them I go up to my room to change and take a book. It's very hot and humid so I decide on a short white dress with pink roses. Very girly and very unlike me but I loved the dress as soon as I spotted it. I find a nice spot at the edge of the lake. It's a tiny wooden bench under a willow tree. I put my phone on silent and get lost in the world of Jane Austen. I completely forget about the world around me.

"You seem far away!" I recognize an all too familiar Aussie accent. I turn around and see Josh with a bright smile on his face.

"Oh hi there! Sorry, I forget everything when I read a good book." I didn't even notice that the light was fading! I look at the beautiful sunset with awe.

"I noticed." He takes a seat next to me.

"Did you finish rehearsals already?"

"Oh we finished ages ago. We were all drinking at the bar but I needed some air." I feel my heart drop immediately. I check my phone before I can help myself and sure enough, no messages or missed calls.

"Oh," is my short reply. The short answer must reflect how I feel because Josh is worried instantly.

"Sorry," he says. "I thought you knew."

"I didn't. It's fine. I'm sure I'm not missing out on something great." I try to put on a brave smile.

"You really aren't missing anything!" Josh says with relief. "It was just Hero, Mel and me." Okay, so Josh left which means Hero is drinking with Melany. Alone. Without texting me.

"So, are you excited to start filming tomorrow?" I change the subject. I don't want to think about Hero and Melany and I don't want to be the jealous girlfriend. Hero is right. He picked me and we have a strong relationship now. I wish I didn't feel so insecure all the time! Josh starts talking about his character and the way he prepared for this role. He's really good at telling stories so once again I lose myself in a story without paying attention to my phone. I don't even hear the buzzing that starts an hour later.
