The fresh air didn't do me any good. For some reason I feel the effects of the alcohol more now. Boy, I haven't been this drunk in a long time! The entire car is spinning. Isabella and Brody are whispering to each other but I'm too drunk to bother. I put my head on Josh's shoulder and close my eyes for a second. By the time we arrive I'm dizzy but in a happy mood again. I don't want to go to bed but the others insist. Josh has to support me all the way to my room.

"Okay drunk monkey, let me take off your shoes," he smiles when I stumble on top of the bed.

"Okaaaay!" I give him my foot. He laughs and takes my heels off.

"Wouldn't you be more comfortable in your pyjamas?"

"I don't wear them. I mostly sleep in large t-shirts." I giggle.

"Uhmm okay." He starts blushing. He opens my closet and throws me a white t-shirt.

"While you put this on, I'll hide in the bathroom."

I giggle again.

"Such a gentleman."

I try to take off my jeans but it makes me fall off the bed. Stupid skinny jeans!

"Charlotte? Are you okay?" Josh asks from behind the closed door.

"I fell off." I pout. "I need help!"

He comes rushing in the room and kneels beside me.

"Did you hurt yourself?"

"Noooo." I slur. He shakes his head and helps me sit on the bed. I put my arms up.

"I need help."

"Eh, sure." He hesitates.

"Todaay pleaaaase!" Gently he helps me unbutton my shirt and takes it off. He turns away his head when I put on the shirt. He folds my clothes and puts them on the chair, then he turns around and helps me with the duvet.

"Are you comfortable?"

"Yes." I give him a bright smile. Being drunk is so fun!

He walks over to the small fridge and takes out a bottle of water.

"Here, you should probably take a few sips before you go to bed. It'll help with the hangover." He sits down next to me.

"Yes sir!" I salute him and take a few sips.

"Good girl. I'll put it here, just in case you need it."

"Thank you Joshy." I'm so grateful for a friend like him. He took me out tonight against his better judgement. He let me drink without asking questions and now he's taking care of me.

"You're welcome," he smirks. "I must admit, you're pretty fun when you're drunk!"

"I'm fun all the time!" I protest and frown.

"That's true," he says.

I still frown.

"You're very cute when you're angry." He pinches my nose gently. It makes me laugh again.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" I ask.

He's tense all of a sudden.

"No, that's not a good idea." He says with a soft voice.

"Why not?" I frown again and cross my arms over my chest.

"You'll regret it in the morning."

"I won't because nothing will happen. I just don't want to be alone."

He laughs.

"I know nothing will happen, silly! But if Hero finds out, he'll be so mad. You don't really want that."

I sigh. Damn it. He's right.

"You're right." I sigh again. "But I don't want to be alone!"

"I know I am. I'm the smartest person in the room," he winks. "Sleep, I'm only a call away."

"Okay." I make myself more comfortable.

Josh leans over and gives me a kiss on the forehead.

"Sleep. I'll come back tomorrow."

He stands up and leaves. Being alone scares me but the alcohol makes me sleepy. I turn to my side and fall asleep.
