I sat in the living room of the Malfoys home, I waited in suspense for my brother to be led around the corner by Narcissa. I was allowed to talk to him without anyone in the room, Narcissa trusted me. Draco and I had avoided each other for the past few days since the day in my room, I couldn't bear seeing his face. The fire crackled away beside me and I tried to focus my thought process on just that, I was nervous, I don't know why I was, but the thought of Helios seeing me, my black eye only just fading, made my stomach turn. The sound of hushed voices down the hallway made me stand up as I awaited the entrance of my brother. I watched as he walked into the room, the doors shutting behind him as he stared at me.

"Hi," I whispered and he just strode across the room, taking me into his arms and hugging me close to his body. I felt so safe, so comforted. I held him as tight as possible, scared if I let go of him, I'd be alone again. "I'm so happy to see you," I whispered into his shoulder.

"I'm so glad you are safe, everyone's been so worried." He said, pulling away from me and holding me by my shoulders, looking me in the eyes. "Harry ran straight to McGonagall and told her. The whole school was informed immediately." He told me and I broke eye contact and fell back onto the sofa.

"How's Remus? Arthur? Molly?" I asked him and he sat down next to me, taking his hand in my own to comfort me. I had no idea what was going on outside of this house, I was banished to my room when it came to meetings about this certain situation.

"They are worried, mostly about you. There's so much going on, everyone so scared." He looked from our hands to me. "Remus blames himself, he wished she hadn't of sent you this year." He sighed and I shook my head. "George is staying with me also, his mum, uh... took a turn for the worst." He told me. I already knew what he meant. His mother went through phases of being genuinely mentally insane and she'd be taken to a psychiatric ward for a while. George said she had PTSD from the last war.

"I miss you all, so much." I whispered, tears falling from my face into my lap. Helios pulled me into him hugging me tightly.

"We miss you too, so so so much. But listen to me Eurydice." He pulled away, his voice hushed as he placed his hands on my shoulders. "You have to listen to Draco and you have to trust him. I know he's the last person you want to trust right now, but I promise you that you are in good hands. This is the safest place you can be right now. Please, just trust Malfoy." He told me and I looked at him with wide eyes, like he was crazy. He seemed frantic, making sure I knew exactly what he was saying.

"But Helios, you hate him. You've hated him since our first year together." There was a slight humour in my tone but his face didn't change from the stern frantic look. He placed his hands on my face and looked me in the eye.

"Trust him. Only him." He told me, his state enough to make me nod quickly. He checked his watch and then looked back to me again, standing up with a sad smile. "I have to go, but I promise I'll come back at the end of the week, Narcissa said I can visit when needed." He said with a gentle smile. I nodded and hugged him tight, he hugged me back squeezing me extra tight, letting me know I wasn't alone. I watched as he walked out of the large room, Narcissa meeting him at the door as she escorted him out. I sighed and made my way up to my room. I shut my door and smiled gently at Oscar, laying down beside him in my bed.

"You missed Helios," I told him, scratching behind his ears. He stood up, nudging my cardigan pocket until a small folded note fell out. I scrunched my eyebrows together before unfolding the note gently. Oscar laying his head on my shoulder to watch me.

'Trust Draco, it's the only way. -Remus'

My stomach churned as I sat up, looking at Oscar with a raised eyebrow. He stared back at me and I sighed and fell back in my bed. The sound of a knock at the door and someone entering didn't phase me, I already knew it was Draco, his knock was soft but sterns.

"Eurydice." He said as he shut my door after entering the room. I sighed and scooted over in the bed, Oscar jumping on to my stomach and curling into a ball. Draco climbed into the bed next to me and we both stared at the crackling fireplace.

"When I was really young, there was this woman who lived next door to Helios and I. She was a nice woman and she was always polite to Helios and I, even when we were being loud in the garden. One day, we woke up to policemen in our living room talking to who we thought was our father at the time. The woman next door had sadly killed herself that night and her husband came home to find her." I stared deeper at the fire. "I'll never forget it, because that morning she'd stopped Helios and I when walking down the path to school, she looked back at our house nervously before handing us both a crystal each, she ruffled Helios's hair and patted my cheek gently before wishing us a good day. We expected to come home and see her doing work in the garden. It made me realise that no matter how much someone looks like they are happy and enjoying life, it can be the complete opposite. No matter the act they put on, the pain still stays." I looked at Draco. "I trust you," I told him. He smiled at me softly and nodded. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder as we both lay in silence in my room.
