  Namjoon hyung and I have been researching for a while now, and we've accomplished a lot more than we thought we would.

I found out the identity of the Alpha male using his blood and a bit of Namjoon hyung's help just in case I ever met him again.

I also found his blood interesting.

I never really had the chance or reason to get a blood sample from a wolf before. I also didn't have the equipment or knowledge to do so either.

Luckily, Namjoon hyung offered to teach me when I brought it up.

He's really smart too and I'm a quick learner, so doing it became easy after just half a week [or so].

He also has a lot of books on many different subjects that he lets me read.

I've found out many interesting facts since meeting Namjoon hyung, but I won't bother you with the details yet.

As I was lost in my research, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see Namjoon hyung with an anxious look.

It was obvious that he made some sort of breakthrough.

"What did you find?"

I stood up quickly with growing curiosity as he started pulling me to his own work area.

He sat on his chair as he showed me his laptop screen. "I was searching the dark web for some information on heat blockers and found this user."

The screen opened up to a private chat. "They say they know what the ingredients are."

"Really?" He nodded, "Yeah. The only problem is that they want something in exchange."

I frowned, "Like what?" He shrugged, "I don't know. They just said that we'd owe them a favor."

I thought about it for awhile before nodding. "Tell them it's a deal."

Namjoon hyung seemed a bit hesitant before doing so. It only took a minute before we were sent a coded file.

Namjoon hyung went to decoding it as I took his tablet and started searching for side effects from heat blockers.

There were two effects that seemed the most important.

1- They aren't very strong if you take one, so it doesn't last long. Which is why you'd need so many.

And

2- Because you have to take a lot in a span of one week, they can become very addictive.

Tch. It looks like they did this on purpose.

I felt another tap on my shoulder and looked up to see Namjoon hyung with an excited smile on his face.

I turned to his computer to find the file decoded. "What does it say?"

Namjoon hyung listed down the ingredients. As he did, my suspicions were only confirmed.

I sighed. Smart bastards. The pills were designed specifically to get Omegas addicted to them.

The bastards who created it knew what it would do and took advantage of it.

Too bad for them though. Many Alphas and Betas underestimate Omegas, whether it's in strength or intelligence.

Since Omegas are only expected to sit and look pretty, many look down on them for their "collective stupidity".

The only reason Omegas seem to be lacking in intelligence is either because they are forced to stop their education, or because they keep quiet about it.

Since most people don't expect anything from Omegas, it's easier for some of us to get away with things.

After all, you wouldn't exactly expect someone with "low intelligence" to be "smart" enough to [trick you].

It's why many of us are calculative and careful with our approach, why it's so easy to fool others.
