  I sighed. I'm alone again.

It's been two weeks since I found out that Jihyun's been in the hospital, and he still hasn't woken up.

When I asked his parents what happened to him, they told me that he was mobbed.

I've been going to his hospital room everyday after school. It's not like I have anything else to distract me [now].

It took another week for him to wake up.

He was mostly confused about everything, but he kept calling out "Hyung".

He was trying to get up, as if he had to do something important, but his parents came in just in time to stop him.

I just sat there next to his bed as he hurriedly asked them where his "hyung" was.

They replied saying that he ran away.

I was silently confused as Jihyun looked devastated.

In the few years I've known Jihyun, I've never once heard anything about him having a hyung.

I was a little hurt that he's never thought to mention him before, but I kept quiet about it. For now, at least.

Jihyun's parents left not long after, leaving Jihyun and I in tense silence.

The week after is when he started talking again. I asked him about this hyung of his, what his name was, what he was like.

He would tell me about his "brave hyung" and what he was like. He was always happy when he thought of him.

The next week is when he was finally released from the hospital, so I waited for him at school.

It was around lunch that I sighed to myself.

It's been weeks, and I still haven't seen Taehyung.. I don't usually sulk, but I was totally sulking.

Since Taehyung and I are in different grades, we also have different schedules, which means that the only time I can actually see him is during lunch.

I closed my eyes for a bit until I felt someone sit next to me. When I opened my eyes, it was Jihyun.

"I need your help."

I raised my eyebrow at his statement. "With what?" "Finding Jimin hyung."

I sighed, already expecting this from him. By the way Jihyun talked about his hyung, it was obvious that this would happen sooner or later.

"Did he look like he was going somewhere?" He looked guilty as he spoke.

"I don't know. The last time I saw him was at the river next to our house.."

"Hmm.."

I tried to think of a possible place Jihyun's hyung could've gone, but I was distracted when Jihyun ran his hand through his hair in distraught.

"What if something happened to him? He's been sick for an entire year. He's too weak to defend himself, and he got beat up the last time I saw him!"

I sighed for the tenth time today. "Do you have any idea where he could've gone?"

Jihyun shook his head with a sigh of his own.

"I don't know.."

I stared at Jihyun in a daze as I thought up ways to find Jihyun's hyung. That's when an idea hit me.

"What if we checked out his room?" I shrugged as I continued. "Maybe he left something that can give us a clue."

He hesitated before answering.

"I don't know.. I'll ask my parents tomorrow since it's a weekend."

I nodded. "Maybe I can stay the night. My dad probably wouldn't care. Plus, we can look for your hyung easier that way."

He nodded just as the bell rang, signalling students to go to class.

We both stood up and left. When we separated, I could see Jihyun pulling his phone out of his pocket.

The rest of the day was boring, so I spent most of it just sleeping in class. When the school day was finally over, I stood up from my seat sleepily and left for home.

I walked home with headphones on, but I took them off when I reached the front of my house.

Sitting in front of the house was my dad's car, meaning he's home.

My dad's usually away from home because he's a workaholic, so it's a rare sight to see his car anywhere near here.

When I opened the door to the house, it was as quiet as ever.

I wouldn't have ever known that my dad was home if it wasn't for the car parked outside.

I sighed again, before walking up the stairs to my room. I slowed down as I walked past my dad's room, seeing the light turned on from under the door.

I could see his shadow move so I left to my own room.

I locked my door the moment I entered and flopped onto my bed. I'm used to not interacting with my dad. It's been going on for years.

I've tried my best to impress him, to make him happy that I'm his son, but he still hates me.

We never talk, but when we do, he always seems to yell at me..

Yet, I still try my best. Even if all he sees me as is a disappointment, I'll do whatever it takes to make him happy..

Even if it ends up breaking me instead.
