My body tensed as I lowered myself slightly into a defensive stance, ready to pounce at any given moment. They laughed condescendingly.

"You really think an Omega like you can take us?!" The supposed leader of the group lunged at me, causing me to move to the side and swing my leg into his stomach.

I quickly leaped towards his original spot to avoid getting caught by the other two Alphas.

The two Alphas crashed into each other as I turned. They were angrier as they got up. They lunged at me again, careful to avoid each other this time.

I knew i couldn't take on all three of them at once, so I did my best to dodge most of their hits.

Luckily, I was hurt a lot less than the other three were. I was doing relatively well for a while until I heard a familiar voice yell, "Hyung!"

I turned in shock to find Jihyun running towards us only for me to get tackled to the ground from getting distracted.

After that, everything went downhill.

They threw punch after punch, kick after kick, and blow after blow. My eyes were blinded by black spots in my vision, but luckily it wasn't enough to knock me out.

They finally left after a while, leaving me to groan in pain in my spot on the pebbled ground.

When the black spots finally left my sight, my attention was immediately thrown to Jihyun's equally bruised body next to me.

I didn't even notice when he got beaten up. I rushed to his side to grab his phone from his pocket, ignoring my own pain in my worry.

I quickly tapped his contacts. The phone rang for a minute until they finally picked up.

"Hel-?" "Jihyun's hurt. We're at the river two blocks from the house and he's unconscious."

I quickly ended the call before they could reply and put the phone back into Jihyun's pocket. What was he doing over here?

As I waited for them to arrive, my eyes stopped on a plastic bag just a few feet away from us.

Peeking out from the bag was a small cake and icecream, ruined by the obvious fall.

When I saw what was written on the cake, I could feel my eyes burning with tears as I wallowed in guilt.

Written in frosting were the words "Happy Birthday Hyung!" I became angry at myself. If I hadn't come- hadn't doubted him, Hyunie would've never gotten hurt.

I didn't know how long I sat there in shame until my parents finally arrived, rushing towards Jihyun in fright.

"Jihyun!"

They pushed me away from him in anger. "You! You did this!" I sat there in silence with my head facing down. "It's all my fault"

"Don't bother coming back to the house." I looked up quickly in shock and disbelief. "What?! You're kicking me out?!" They turned to me with a heavy glare.

It's been almost a year since we've even talked, but their glares were still terrifying all the same. "You were nothing but trouble."

They turned without another word, carrying Jihyun into the car and driving off.

I spent who knows how long just sitting there, registering what had just happened.

When I finally stood, my legs felt numb. My eyes were heavy and dry from crying so much as my chest hurt from the guilt.

Walking to the bush I hid the boy from earlier in, I found him lying there unconscious.

I pulled him up with numb hands and carried most of his weight on my back as I dragged him to the nearest Garden.

I was finally met with Seoyeon noona in the back alleyway.

I could vaguely register her gasp as she pulled the both of us into the elevator leading to Eden.

It took them a while, but Minjoon hyung and Seoyeon noona coerced me into telling them what happened and they offered to let me stay as they called Namjoon hyung.

I came to peace with what happened the day after with everyone else's help. I decided to change my look in case Jihyun tries to find me.

I didn't want him to get hurt because of me ever again, even if it meant I never saw him again.

I changed my hair to a wavy midnight blue and started using the Beta contacts to hide the gold in my eyes.

I started going out during midmorning as well since I didn't have to worry about being caught anymore.

Of course, since it's been a year since I've been out in the morning, we made special contacts to help against sunlight. They were made specifically for me.

Luckily, we didn't have to get anything else since most of my stuff was either at Namjoon hyung's place or at the packs house.

From then on, I tried to become a different person entirely. I had to.

To keep Jihyun safe- No.. To survive, I would.

This is finally the end of Jimin's Origin Arc!

From now on I won't be doing Jimin PoV's (Maybe occasionally), so it'll be a bit more difficult for me to write so I hope you don't expect much from now on.

(I live to suffer for my writing)

Also, the story will be picking up a bit of pace (I guess) as more characters are introduced quickly, including the two you've all probably been waiting for!
