~Jungkook~

We sat in [awkward] silence in one of the private rooms in Haven.

Taehyung and the other dude, who apparently goes by the name "Swan", both dragged me back here.

It's been [fifteen] minutes since then and every second has been intimidating, especially with them both staring at me.

Taehyung looked a bit shocked and confused, but the Swan guy looked like he was trying to figure out every little thing about my life just off of my looks.

And it looked like it was working.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when he started speaking.

"So you've been stalking him because you were bored?" I nodded guiltily. He turned to the other guy, "And you knew but didn't say anything?"

The guy nodded, not feeling the slightest bit shamed. Wait- My head shot up to him.

"You knew the whole time??"

He nodded again absentmindedly. He looked distracted, too focused on me. His eyes were still on me, observing me. It was kinda creepy.

I started fidgeting with my hands underneath the table.

Taehyung sighed. "You can't tell anyone about anything you saw the past [few] weeks. Got it?"

He gave me a serious look as he said it and I nodded in response. "I need a verbal answer." "I won't tell anyone." He looked relieved as he sat back.

When I turned my head slightly, the Swan guy was writing in a notebook.

When did he even pull that out?

"So.. what exactly is this? And how are you involved, hyung?" Taehyung glanced at the Swan guy, who gave him a look that I couldn't understand.

Taehyung turned back to me and adjusted his back so he was sitting straight up.

He leaned over the table slightly as he explained.

"We're both in a group that helps others from outside of the law. Nothing too drastic, just a bit of illegal trades and such."

I gasped in shock.

"So you're basically gang members??" I pointed at Swan accusingly, "Is that why you beat up that one dude??"

Taehyung rushed to cut me off. "What, no! Calm down, it isn't like that."

It took me a few seconds, but once I was calm again, Taehyung let out another sigh.

"What I meant is that we sell pills made to help other people deal with their inner wolves such as Omegas dealing with heat."

I nodded before looking at Taehyung.

"And you?" He suddenly had this look in his eyes.

"I know someone who's heard of it, so I joined." I nodded again absentmindedly.

I was too focused on trying to figure out what that look meant. "So you guys just.. help people?" They nodded and I sighed. "Phew."

Taehyung laughed a bit. "Stop being so overdramatic."

I sat up a bit with my hand to my chest.

"I'm being serious. You guys could've been loan sharks for all I knew." Taehyung laughed a bit harder.

The Swan guy next to him seemed to enjoy the scene too, if the crescent eye smile was anything to go off of. It was actually kinda cute.

I can't see much of his face besides his eyes, but he looks kinda chubby.

That reminds me- I turned my body towards Swan. "How old are you? You look kinda young."

From the corner of my eye, I could see Taehyung's box smile. "He's the same age as me. We're both 95-liners, which makes us soulmates."

Taehyung wrapped his arms around Swan, who looked used to it.

I could feel something inside me boil at the sight. I knew what I was feeling, but I didn't want to make a scene.

When I pulled myself out of my thoughts, Taehyung looked like he was trying to focus on something. Swan on the other hand was staring at me.

He looked curious.

I quickly looked down at my fingers in my lap. I could feel my face heat up in embarrassment.

After a few seconds, a question popped into my mind.

I looked up to the Swan guy, "By the way, why are you called Swan?" Taehyung turned to him in curiosity. Looks like he doesn't know either.

The Swan guy propped his arm on the table before pulling his jacket sleeve back to reveal a bracelet.

"Cool. Where did you get it? I've never seen a Swan like that before."

His eyes turned to crescents again.

"It was made by someone I was close to." I could tell that he was reminiscing, but he also had this look in his eyes, as if he was hurt by the memory.

I decided not to say anything and I leaned back in my chair as he pulled his sleeve back down, easily covering it.

After that, we started conversing about the group they were in and what they do.

It was actually kinda fun hearing Taehyung brag about Swan, despite my jealousy. I have no idea how it happened, but by the end of it all, I was invited to join.

I was shocked, especially after being caught stalking them, but I agreed.

Taehyung and even the Swan guy suggested I hang out with them. I was excited at the idea.

Not only do I have something to actually do after school and get away from my house a little longer, I'm also being given the offer to hang out with my crush everyday.

Plus, I can finally get the answers to my curiosity from the past few weeks.

When I got home, no one was there, like usual. However, instead of feeling lonely and upset, I felt the happiest I've ever been in a while.
