  Time seemed to move even slower than usual, but that might just be because of my excitement for later.

Anyway, I spent most of the time listening to the lessons halfheartedly and tapping my pencil on my notebook.

When the bell finally rang for lunchtime, I practically bolted out of my seat. I ran to the cafeteria so fast, I'm sure I left a small smoke trail.

I waited for Jungkook at his usual seat for only [two] minutes before I saw him walk into the room.

I stood up and walked to him quickly before grabbing his arm.

He looked surprised when I did, but he calmed down when he realized that it was just me. He sighed, "Hyung, you almost gave me a heart attack."

He put his hand on his chest and I laughed a bit at his extraness.

"Sorry Kookie. I'm just excited for you to meet my friends." He eyed me skeptically. "They won't be like your last group of friends will they?"

I shook my head, but I could feel my smile grow the tiniest bit at his concern.

"No, they're the exact opposite of them. Besides, I really wanted them to meet you, especially now that you'll be hanging out with me from now on."

"Babump. Babump. Babump."

There it is again. Why is his heart beating so fast? He didn't say anything, so he can't be lying.. Maybe I should ask noona or Moni hyung..

I didn't realize my body was moving on auto pilot until I heard the pack greeting us.

I pushed my thoughts to the back of my mind and introduced everyone to Jungkook and vise versa.

We both sat down with the pack and only had a second of rest when Bambam and Yugyeom pulled Jungkook into a conversation.

It was a bit funny seeing them getting along so well, especially when they just started dabbing out of nowhere.

Most of lunch was spent with us laughing at the trio of quick friends.

The rest of the school day was boring, but I was still coming down from my happiness high from lunch, so I didn't really care.

When school finally finished, I realized that I didn't know where Jungkook's last class was, so I decided to wait at the front of the school instead.

I only had to wait for about five minutes or so until he came rushing out the school doors.

"Hey Kookie." "Hi hyung."

He smiled his signature bunny smile to me and we both started walking together.

"Hey Kook, what's your phone number?"

I don't know why, but he seemed to jump at the question and his heart was going fast again. "W-Why?"

I shrugged. "I realized I didn't know how to call you if I needed to. Plus, it'll make it easier to find you." I smiled at him and he seemed happy at my answer.

After a few seconds of.. staring, he pulled his phone out of his pocket in a rush.

I laughed as he gave it to me before putting in my number and texting myself with it.

By the time I was finished making a contact for him, we made it to Moni hyung's place.

Jungkook looked curious as I knocked a pattern onto the door.

I smiled at the Alpha woman who opened the door before grabbing Jungkook's hand and leading him to Moni hyung's room.

When we made it, Jungkook asked, "What are we doing here? Weren't we supposed to meet with Swan?"

As he asked that, he was looking around the room in confusion while I locked the door. When he heard the Click, he looked a little panicked.

His heart was getting faster and I could see the slightest bit of red on his cheeks.

"Uh hyung? What are you doing? Why did you lock the door? Where-?"

I kept myself from laughing at his panicked rumbling before heading to the secret entrance to hyung's "lab", effectively cutting him off when I pushed it open.

He was so lost in a daze of awe that I had to practically drag him down the hall, only for me to stop suddenly with a dramatic sigh at the sight in front of me.

"Hyung! Do you have to do that now??"

Against the far back wall was Moni hyung and another guy making out.

Moni hyung was quick to pull away, but the other guy looked annoyed, if his threatening red eyes were anything to go by.

Instead of doing anything [however], he opted to sit down and pull Moni hyung close to him while glaring at us for interrupting them.

When I turned to Jungkook to introduce the two, he looked a bit [shy] as he fidgeted.

"This is Moni hyung and his mate Suga hyung. Moni's a Beta and as you can tell, Suga's an Alpha."

Jungkook gave a small [nod] to the two before Suga hyung spoke.

"Jungkook, right? So you must be the guy who was spying on us in the alley." Jungkook looked lost for only a second before he made a quiet sound of realization.

His eyes became wider as he absentmindedly pointed to Suga hyung. "You're the voice from before!"

I was slightly confused before I realized what they probably meant, so I decided to move the conversation elsewhere. "Where's Swan?" "He'll be here any minute."

I nodded at the [pair] before telling Jungkook that he could look around if he wanted.

In the few minutes we had to wait, Jungkook looked in awe at the different tables of research equipment and prototypes.

He was snapped out of his little trance when a soft Click echoed in the room and the door opened to Swan.

Unlike whenever he was outside, Swan had his hood down, allowing his dark blue hair to show. It was short but ruffled, as if he just woke up.

His eyes were also a bit droopy.

If it wasn't for the cup of coffee in his hand, I would've thought he'd fall asleep right where he stood.

Not even a step into the room and Suga hyung raced to grab the iced coffee in Swan's other hand.

I sat patiently with Jungkook standing next to me, waiting for Swan.

When he finally looked at us, he put his bag on the table and pulled out his notebook. "Let's start."
