Ali, David and Matt are watching the first semi-final on TV. Ali receives a text while listening to Matt.
MATT
I've been ignoring Christian since Saturday but he's not giving up.
DAVID
Hot ones are harder to shake off. They are not used to rejection.
Ali receives another text.
DAVID
Get off your phone. What are you, Matt now?
ALI
Sorry, mom.
DAVID
Who are you getting all these messages from?
ALI
...my mom.
DAVID
Your mom wouldn't write to you when you're with me. She hates me.
ALI
No, she doesn't.
DAVID
She thinks I made you gay.
ALI
She doesn't even know that I'm gay.
DAVID
Oh, wake up!
MATT
Who's writing to you then?
ALI
(shyly) I met someone. We went on a date.
DAVID
You?
MATT
David! Who is it?
ALI
OK, but you can't tell anyone... It's Loukas, the Greek contestant.
DAVID & MATT
WHAT!?!
Ali tries to shush them as does the other people watching.
DAVID
(to Belarusian Man) It's just Belarus, calm down.
BELARUSIAN MAN
I'm from Belarus!
DAVID
(sarcastically) OK, good luck!
BELARUSIAN MAN

MATT
How did this happen?
ALI
We met after his rehearsal.
DAVID
You kept this from us for 3 days?
ALI
I didn't know what it was! I saw him again yesterday. We kissed in the park.
MATT
PDA alert! (thrusts) I love public stuff.
ALI
It wasn't public stuff! ...it was romantic.
DAVID
Mon chéri, you're not hoping for a relationship here, are you?
MATT
OK bummer!
DAVID
Don't you think it's kind of a fairy tale?
MATT

ALI
He said he feels like fate brought us together.
DAVID

MATT
I have so many questions.
ALI
We haven't slept together yet.
MATT

DAVID
Look, I'm happy for you, just don't get carried away.
MATT
OK, Nadia is on! You got this baby!
Nadia sings "Gasp!" on the screen with a lot of dancing. The whole bar enjoys it.
ALI
It's fun but the jury votes are all about vocals. Vocals are not great.
During the second chorus, Ali and Matt really get into it.
DAVID
You guys look cute!
MATT
Take a video of us.
David records them singing along to the song. Matt posts it online, writing "with my babe" as a caption. The song ends.
