INT. A CAFE IN LONDON - DAY

TITLE OVER: 3 months later. (after a pause) 270 days until the final.

Ali and Loukas are sitting at a table. Ali's dialing Matt on Skype on his laptop.

WAITER

(to Loukas) You were great. You should have won.

LOUKAS

Thank you, you're very kind.

The waiter leaves.

ALI

I've missed Matt so much.

Matt answers but the camera is angled to his chest

MATT

Hey guys! Oh, let me fix that. I don't usually show my face on this thing.

Ali and Loukas chuckle. Matt's face can now be seen.

ALI

How are you?

MATT

I'm good, babe. What about you guys? I know Loukas is busy.

LOUKAS

It's crazy man. I have so many gigs all over Europe, it's like a dream.

ALI

We're meeting Mini here in London.

MATT

Fantastic! Christian wanted me to say hi, he's visiting me here. We went to a Eurovision party, I took him to Central Park...

A Skype window opens up with David and Leo sitting closely.

DAVID & LEO

MATT

LOUKAS

They laugh while Ali shakes his head.

ALI

A woman with a big hat and sunglasses enters and walks right to Ali's table. She sits down. The guys are confused. The woman removes her glasses and they realize it's Valerie.

VALERIE

Hey Loukas.

ALI

(shocked) Guys we have to go.

DAVID

I know that voice!

Ali shuts down the laptop screen.

LOUKAS

Valerie???

VALERIE

I'm here to make amends. What I did to you wasn't fair and it screwed up your chances. I'm sorry.

LOUKAS

Thank you. That means a lot.

VALERIE

I tasted my own medicine and it was bitter. All I could think about was my own image and fame. Now look at me.

LOUKAS

You are a hundred times more famous now, even your music career has revived. You literally can't walk on the street.

The waiter arrives to set the table.

VALERIE

And that will be my punishment! Goodbye, Loukas. (extends her hand) Goodbye, Loukas' gay lover.

But the guy Valerie is reaching to is not Ali, it's the waiter. He gets very excited.

WAITER

You're gay? Oh my God!

The waiter starts taking pictures of Loukas and Ali. Valerie understands what she has done. Loukas and Ali just stare at her. She pats Ali on the head.

VALERIE

Bye, darling.

Valerie leaves as Ali and Loukas stare at each other.
