We are almost done with the second semi final. 6 qualifiers announced for Saturday.
ALI
Only 4 more to go, no Greece yet.
MATT
Calm down, he'll make it.
DAVID
So what if he's eliminated? You can have him for yourself for the rest of the weekend.
ALI
I don't want that.
Ali holds his stomach with anxiety.
DAVID
Will you see him tonight again?
MATT

MATT

GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
The next qualifier is... Switzerland!
The pub cheers. The boys fake a small cheer.
ALI & MATT & DAVID

ALI
He said we'll meet. (points to the TV) But his mood will hugely depend on this.
DAVID
He should be there if he said he'll be there.
ALI
Like your husband? Where on earth is he?
DAVID
That's kinda mean. I'm not a good influence on you.
GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
Next country that makes it to the final is... Ukraine!
Margarita is seen celebrating on TV. The pub cheers. The boys fake a small cheer.
ALI & MATT & DAVID
Yay...
Ali then genuinely cheers.
ALI
Oh, actually, YAY! I like her. Mini told her to fall like that.
MATT
Great advice...
GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
And the ninth country through to the final is... Bulgaria!

ALI
(very nervous) Oh man...
GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
Veselina is the winner of The Voice of Bulgaria and also owner of 14 birds.
ALI
That is so relevant.
Matt and David hold Ali's hands.
GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
And the last country to go through to the final is...
On the screen Loukas is obviously worried but he is smiling. The boys are waiting apprehensively.
GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
Greece!
Ali exhales with relief. The pub cheers. Loukas is on the screen in a jubilant mood.
GRAHAM NORTON (VOICE)
Lovely Valerie Ash will have some tough competition on Saturday. Don't forget to tune in for the United Kingdom's rise from its ashes. We are the favorite to win.
Matt checks his phone and smiles at Ali.
MATT
Not anymore! Loukas has taken over on the betting charts.
Ali takes Matt's phone to see for himself.
ALI

David tries to smile but is having mixed feelings.
