As soon as I got discharged from the hospital, fans and the media were hoarding outside the hospital.

I tried to greet them with a smile. Every single one of them. But there was one person who caught my attention.

It was a girl. Around 5'4, and she was wearing sunglasses, a black hoodie, and a face mask. I just shrugged it off as I hopped in the van.

"Congratulations on your recovery" Seonghwa greeted me with a bouquet inside the van. I gladly accepted it.

The others started giving me more and more gifts inside the van. Yunho, Jongho, and Yeosang gave me a big Minions stuffed toy.

San, Wooyoung, and Mingi gave me food and other care packs for me. My heart fluttered with joy as they all gave it to me.

"Thanks guys" I said, teary eyed. They all laughed and gave me a pat on the back.

"Thank you for still being alive" - Yunho

"Yeah, I wouldn't imagine Hwa as a leader" - Mingi

"Yah why?!" - Seonghwa

"You'll make us clean all day" - San

"Lint roller here, lint roller there" - Yeosang

"Yeah, that would be hard" - Wooyoung

"Y'all too harsh" - Seonghwa

"Let's eat something fancy for Hongjoong's recovery" - Yunho

"That would be much better" - San

We all laughed along as our manager drove us to a restaurant. We ordered up and got back home before 10 pm.

I am so tired. This day could've been worse. First my keys are gone and now fans almost recognized me.

"Yah, where are my keys?" I told myself as I was rummaging through my bag. Soon I found it and got inside before anybody sees me.

"I really need to buy a new purse" I huffed and sat down on the sofa to remove everything I wore.

Why did I even think of risking my image like that? But my adrenaline rush to see Hongjoong is getting higher everyday.

As I was about to go to the wash room, my phone buzzed and I saw a message from San.

I slowly smiled as I thought of the moment our eyes met. I just want to be by his side, but I can't.

When San did not replied back, I went in the wash room to continue what I was doing.

Maybe one day, one big day we'll both have a break. We will meet again, and maybe we can start over again.

But for now, let's focus on making our careers blossom. Let's focus on reaching our dreams.

As I sat down on my bed, and slowly turned the lights off, the girl in the black hoodie is all I can remember.

What if that's Aerim?

Nah, impossible. She doesn't even recognize me and it hurts.

I took my medication and some sleeping pills to slowly doze off to sleep.

We're not getting younger, Aerim. I am already 28, you're 26. But it's okay, I'll wait for you.
