Erin's POV
************
I couldn't comprehend the fact that she was standing in front of me right now.
I blinked a couple times, trying to convince myself that it was just a hullucination. I was wrong. My sisters arms reached around me and hugged me tightly, "Are you all ok?" She asked as she pulled away. I had never been so happy to hear her voice.
I stood there, silent. I was frozen with complete shock, I never thought that she was going to come back. I didn't think we were going to find her in the first place, "Riley.." I managed to mumble. Without realizing the few tears that fell from my eyes, she pulled me into another hug except this time I hugged back. My emotions changed quickly, instead of happiness it turned to anger and sadness. She left her own sister for some boy that suddenly appeared in our lives. She completely left me, not to mention she hadn't even said goodbye to me!
My hand swiped across her cheek, a frown plastered on my face. "Guess I deserved that one.." She held her cheek softly, covering the newly made red mark. "Damn right you did. You left me and you didn't even bother to say goodbye! Your just like fucking mom and dad.. Leaving me behind.." I whimpered, "Listen I'm sorry, Erin." I ignored her words, turning away. "I guess since we're all back together then we can find a place to stay in?" Jc suggested. "Hopefully no one is going to leave." I glared at Riley and Connor, everyone stayed silent. We began our mission to find a new place, one that we would be staying in for a while.
After almost an hour and a half, we finally found one that we all agreed on. Took long enough. "I really don't give a shit where I sleep. You can all pick first." I mumble, still feeling pissed off. Everyone chose where they would be sleeping, I signed and plopped onto the old, torn, couch.
I closed my eyes and leaned back, I soon felt someone sit next to me. I didn't mind though, "Hey." His voice filled the room, "Hi, Sam." I replied, trying to sound a bit more cheerful then what I actually was. "It'll be ok." His words made me smile, he knew how I was feeling. "Thank you." I opened your eyes and looked over at him, smiling at you.
I couldn't help but, smile back. "I really am sorry for what happened back at the lake. I honestly didn't mean to snap at you... I was just pissed off. Its not your fault that she decided to leave." I apologized, still feeling guilty. "Its cool. I would've snapped too. I promise its all good now though, so.." His voice stopped mid sentence, I was really confused, where was this leading? "What are we?" He asked. Jesus. Back to this again?
Instead of being a rude bitch, I answered back as nicely as possible. "I don't really know..." Honestly, that was the truth. After being with him for about a month, he started to grow on me. Was he still annoying as shit? Sometimes. But it was kinda cute..
I shook out of my thoughts when he spoke, "Well..." He placed his hand on top of mine softly. It startled me at first, "Can we be more then friends?" He asked, I felt nervous. "I-I don't know..." I replied, he looked hopeful and nervous. "Please. Can we at least try?.." He pleaded.
I didn't know what to say. I had promised myself that I wouldn't fall for him, was I about to break that promise? Is this something I really wanted? Badly enough that I would break my own promise?
"I can't.. I just.. I don't know. I'm confused. I'm sorry." I shot up and walked straight up stairs, into the only empty bedroom left. I felt bad for turning him down. Every other time I let him down, it didn't really affect me but, for some reason.. This got to me. I was confused, I didn't know what else to do. I guess I saved myself from getting hurt. Part of me thinks he would never hurt me though.. Would he? I want to trust him. So why can't I?
