Truth to be told, I was freaking out when I started typing this chapter. It's the ending and I really need to make it a bit cliffhanger... You know the sequel of this book – which is out on 2013 ;) Yep, that long. I'm sorry peeps HEEHEE.
So Mars kept on saying that I should make a death scene or something. Even though I promised that I would kill someone in the book... and I haven't killed anyone yet. I'm not even sure if I want to kill anyone.
I'm not expecting to be nominated or win something at the Watty Awards 2012. But still, there's nothing to lose if you try.
I won't proofread this book because I'm too lazy to do it and I've got work now – I'm a writer at our school/college paper WOOHOO. I – well, Kaye – will probably proofread this once she have some extra time.
So this is goodbye for a few months. I'll see you Wattpad next year! Thank you for the votes, the fans, and the messages. Thanks to my awesome batchmates from Armageddon 2012! Especially to Ranzel, because you're the only guy who's reading this – and I'm not sure if you're still reading it. (Thanks for trying bro!) Lyza, it's finally done! Chapter 30 – The finale of Something That Can Never Be Replaced
It was three weeks before prom. And everything on was done in my checklist. Now all I have to do is ace school then I'm completely fine.
I just decided I would use Ali's old prom dress, which was a light pink one-shoulder organza ball gown and Mom bought a silver ancient mask – the one where it has a lot of feathers on the top. I had some old heels that would be perfect for the dress. Thomas decided to just wear a tuxedo and a black mask so that it would be simple.
The girls decided to have a countdown before prom. We were all in Emma's bedroom, having some crazy discussion when the topic of dates was brought up.
"So who's the mystery date?" Emma asked me. I didn't tell them about Thomas. They would make a fuss about it.
"Secret," I winked.
"Come on, Sadie. We're dying to know!" Nadine insisted.
"I'm not going to tell you! You have to find out when we take our masks off by midnight." I said. Thomas and I talked about the curfew and all and he said he couldn't stay until midnight since prom was held on a Friday evening and he had a morning class on Saturday. I couldn't believe I was lying to my friends.
"You know, Nash doesn't have a date." Jenny said and my heart tingled a bit. Those past few months were like denial months. I felt fine but it has been occurring to me that we made the wrong decision of staying friends. I promised myself I wouldn't fall for him again but by the end of the day, I was still aching for him. Feelings could make a person go bipolar.
