Octavia, Indra and the other grounders along with me release Emerson. We put him back into his suit and are almost at the gate when my mom and Marcus stops us. My mom stares at me but looks at Marcus.

"Clarke this is not your decision." He says.

"Bellamy says he needs something to distract them from him. Releasing him will do that. If he makes it." I say. Marcus stares at me before looking at Abby.

"I believe in her." I smile at mom before walking around her. We get to the gate and are ready to let him go when i release some of the air out of his tank. 

"It takes eight hours to walk to Mount weather. You'll have to do it in six." I stare at him, a smile on my face. "I would start running and when you make, if. Tell your leader we are coming. Thats to the tone generator you gave us the reapers can't hurt us. Mount Weather can release our people and we will let you all live." I watch him run into the forest. Hoping to make it in time. I hope he does.

"How is this suppose to help Bellamy?" Octavia walks up beside me.

"While they are looking out for the enemy, Bellamy will be working on the inside to take them down and free are people." She smiles understanding. We have given them a target.

The next day I check with Raven to see if Bellamy has radioed.Raven looks behind me to see Ryder. I glare at him and he walks out.

"He's to guard me since Emerson tried to kill me." I say looking back at the radio. "He's late."

I soon let her tell em about the dame plan. I listen to her as Bellamy come over the radio. 

"You're late." I say to him.

"I'm sorry but we have a problem." He sounds upset.

"What's happened?"

"There taking them one by one."

"You need to find them and hopefully free them before they get hurt." I say. He agree's the radio going silent. I get up walking to out to tell Marcus I am not going to TonDc. I need to stay here and help get plans finished to storm Mount Weather.

I get back to raven to hear her talking to Bellamy.

"What's happened? I ask.

"Clarke, is that you?" I take the radio from Raven.

"What's happened?" I ask him.

"I just heard their leader talking to that man you released. He told him that your deal is off because they are going to drop a missile on TonDc."

"I'm going to TonDc." I look at Raven. 

"Is Octavia there?" I hear Bellamy ask.

"She's not there anymore. She should be on her way back here."

"Good." I hear relief but I know if he knew the truth he would be scared. I know when he finds out he will hate me. 

I ride to TonDc, getting there as dusk is starting to settle. I hop off my horse looking around when Octavia greets me. 

"Hey. I thought you weren't coming?"

"Changed my mind. Have you seen Lexa?" I ask her looking around. 

"Why? Is something wrong?" She asks.

"No. I just have information that Bellamy gave me." She nods, believing me. She shows me to the main building, walking away as I step inside.

Lexa is alone. She turns staring at me as I walk towards her.

"Marcus told me you were not coming."

"Bellamy told me something." She lifts her eyebrow. "Mount Weather didn't take the bait we sent. They are going to send a missile."

"Where?" She asks.

"Here. They plan to blow up TonDc." I point on the map. 

"A missile, are you sure?" I nod.

"Yes. We have to start evacuating now." I say.

"No." I stare at her, shocked.

"What do you mean, no?"

"If we evacuate, they'll know we have a spy inside their walls." She says walking across the room. I walk after her grabbing her arm. 

"If we don't people will die." I say staring at her. She yanks her arm out.

"We can't risk it." I step back, still a little in shock.

"What's the point of having an inside man if we can't act on what he tells us?" I argue.

"Is the acid fog disabled? Is our sleeping army uncaged?" I shake my head looking away. Tears burning in my eyes. "Then Bellamy's job is not done. Without him, we can't win this war."

"So what are you saying? We just do nothing? Let them bomb us?" I look back at her, feeling anger rise inside me. Bellamy trusts me. I told him I would warn them. I have to get his sister out.

"It'll be a blow. But our army will be safe inside the woods and it'll inspire them." She looks down at me. I stare at her before shaking my head.

"What about us?" I ask.

"We'll slip out the back." She turns to walk up another set of stairs. I look at the door and then back at her. She comes back over holding a cloak. "Put this on." I take it from her looking at it before looking back at her. She starts to put her cloak on.

"Lexa, wait." I stop her. "You don't understand. I provoked Mount Weather, I sent a message to distract them from Bellamy."

"Clarke you know what war is like. Sometimes you have to lose a battle in order to win the war."

"This is wrong." I yell at her.

"It's also our only choice and you know it. You could've warned everyone out there, but you didn't. This is war, Clarke. People die. It's time to go." She walks up the stairs.

I watch her before following. I know she is right but it still feels wrong. We walk into the forest, cloaks on. I keep looking back, wondering if I should go and warn them. We are walking down a path when I see something above us. I watch it, turning to see it land behind us. The explosion sends a wave that knocks me down. I fall back, staring at the fire before me. 

They did it. They blew up TonDc. I stare at people running past me, faces all black, coughing from the smoke. I hear screams and cries. What have we done?"
