Bellamy POV

I hate her. Raven told me that Clarke lied, that Octavia was in TonDc. My sister almost died because she lied to me. But even though I hate her I can't stop the feeling I have for her. I hope I see her again, I know it will be hard but it is all I want. To hold her again.

I manage to get the fog down by blowing up the machines, almost frying myself. I get back to the Harvest chamber, freeing Echo and the others. I tell her the plan, that I will go get my people, bringing them back here before we attack. We are the secret that they will not see coming. An army on the inside.

"Thank you." Echo says looking at me. I nod leaving to go find my people. Hoping they are still all safe.

Clarke POV

We manage to get the alarm off. Sargent Miller from the sky people says we have one minute. Lexa and I hold the trigger but when we press it nothing happens. We go to move closer but are ambushed. Bullets fly from above us. Lexa takes some of her people to take them out while I wait for the door to open.

I press the trigger hoping it will work. I wait for the door to open. For him to be there. The door eventually opens and I see Echo walk out with other grounders. I step forward, confused. What is happening? Where is Bellamy? Echo looks at me before walking through the warriors. I am sure she will go straight back to Nia, telling her where I am.

I turn to see Lexa coming down the hill with Emerson.

"What did you do?" I glare at her.

"What any leader would do. Saved my people." She steps towards me. "I'm sorry Clarke but I did what I had. You would have done the same." She walks around me, telling them to retreat. I watch as Emerson goes back in, the door closing behind him.

I turn looking at Lincoln who is staring to where Octavia is. The tunnels. I nod at him, agreeing to go with him but as we are walking he is taken. He yells at me to get to her, to save her and the others.

I run to the tunnel to find Octavia alone. She turns staring at me.

"You stayed?" I ask, not shocked but surprised.

"I know where my loyalties lie." She moves to a backpack on the ground. "Why did Lexa sound the retreat?" She looks up at me.

"She made a deal with the mountain. My people for yours."

"What?" She straighten up. Shock on her face.

"I know. Now we are on our own." I pass her towards the door. I pound on it but Octavia stops me grabbing me.

"Stop. They'll hear you."

"Tell me then what we are suppose to do. Our armies gone. The grounder army inside is gone. Everything we did is ruined because...." I can't say her name.

"What can I do?" She asks.

"I don't know." I whisper. I look down at my gun taking it out, pointing it at the door.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"Getting us in." I am about to shoot when the door beeps. Octavia walks up beside me, sword out. Ready for whoever comes out that door.

The door opens and we lower our weapons. Bellamy stands at the doorframe. Octavia throws her arms around him, relief that her is alive. I can see he is relived too. I look down, not wanting to meet his eyes. Hands grab mine and I look up.

"I'm sorry."

"I know." He says, smiling before pulling me against him.

"I thought I wouldn't see you again." He brings is finger up to wipe a stray tear.
