Bellamy POV
I lie on the ground, staring at the spot where she was. I almost had her. She would have been safe. I slowly get up, holding back a scream. My leg hurts really bad but I can't think about that right now. I stand up, stumbling into a pillar. I wait a moment, catching my breath before making my way up and out of this hidden building.
I get to the top, trying to look for signs of their trail. I find a few footprints following them. I stumble from tree to log, hoping I don't collapse. I am a little ways from the edge of the forest when someone calls out to me. I look behind me to see Monty, Marcus, Pike and the others following me.
"Bellamy stop." Monty reaches me, holding me against a tree.
"I almost had her." I say, closing my eyes. She was so close.
"Can you track them?" Marcus asks Pike.
"He knows we're following him. He'll make sure we don't." I stare at him before pushing off the tree stumbling to another.
"Bellamy your hurt, you could die out here..."
"We can't lose Clarke!" I yell looking at the others. Marcus looks away. He knows if he goes back to Abby she will lose it on him. She wants her home but not like this. I look back at Monty. "I can't lose Clarke." I whisper.
"I know and we will find her. Please." I nod letting him put my arm over his shoulder. I peak at Marcus as we walk ass. He's not happy with this. I am going to hear about it later after I get patched up.
Once back at Camp. Abby patches me up. She doesn't ask me about her. She doesn't want to know. She has said many times that Clarke will come back when she's ready. I have a feeling that it will not be anytime soon.
I leave medic to track down Marcus. He wanted to speak to me after seeing Abby. I walk down the hallway, holding the wall for support. I walk into Marcus' office to find Pike there. They look at me. I step back waiting. Marcus nods at Pike before turning to me as he leaves.
"You disobeyed orders." He says.
"I'm sorry." I look down. I know he's disappointed.
"I know why you did it but I have to bench you." I nod, understanding. I look back up at him. "You will not go on runs for the time." He turns looking at his map.
"Do you think she's okay?" I ask. He looks back at me.
"I honestly don't know." He admits. I was afraid of that. I leave walking back to the main area. I find the others at a table, pushing their food around. Gina looks up at me, smiling. She gets up walking over to me.
"How you feeling?" She asks.
"Okay." I say kissing her cheek before walking to the table, holding her hand. It doesn't feel right to be here with her. I should be looking for Clarke.
I sit at the table with the others, listening to them but not really. My mind is somewhere else. With someone else. Sometimes I wish she would not have left. We could have worked through it, been together.
The next few days I stay in the camp, helping unload and load up the truck and rover. After a week I am allowed to go to Mount Weather for a run. Octavia, Raven and I walk through the hallways, stopping when we see Farm station people eating in the mess hall. Pike greets us with open arms.
Octavia stares at them, frustrated. Lexa told us she did not want us living in Mount Weather. We promised and yet... She leaves as Raven goes to find Sinclair. I stare at Pike and the other people, not sure what to do. I get the supplies we need before going to find Octavia.
