"Vivianne! Bilisan mo mahuhuli na tayo sa interview!" sigaw ng kaibigan ko na si Leah habang patuloy na nag-aantay saakin sa labasan ng apartment.
"Oo na, ito na! Ito na!" I shouted back while putting my heels on, mentally cursing myself.
Its already 9:30 in the morning and the interview starts at 10:00, hindi kasi tumunog yung alarm ko kaya ito tuloy nagpapanic na. I feel guilty dragging Leah along with me for being late.
"Tara na! Bilisan mo!" sabi ni Leah sabay hila sa'kin.
"Aray naman masakit ah!" I complained giving her a glare but she didn't really care.
"Reklamo ka pa, sumunod ka na kasi!"
Nakarating din kami sa TRF company, kung saan magaganap ang interview namin, yun nga lang nalate kami ng 5 minutes.
"Vivianne Scarlet Francisco, you're up next" narinig kong sabi ng siguro assistant ng mag-iinterview saken. Hindi pa naman ako ready pero kailangan para sa trabaho. Kapag hindi pa ako matanggap dagdag problema nanaman.
"Uhm, good morning po, Sir." I gave him a smile before extending my hand in front of him, for a handshake, diba?
"Sit down, Miss Vivianne." sabay tanggap sa kamay ko. Pagkaupo ko ay ibinigay ko sakanya ang aking résumé ko, I didn't know if he noticed but I was shaking, literally.
I can't lie but the man looks familiar pero hindi ko na iyon inisip since I was too pre-occupied with this whole interview that I am in.
"Okay, its says here that you're a graduate from Ateneo de Manila University. And you're a graduate of Businesses Administration, impressive." He said, nodding while saying it.
"Yes po."
"Why do you think our company needs someone like you?" Well, that was sudden. Hindi manlang ako informed na straightforward nga pala si Sir.
"Well Sir," I cleared my throat. "I may have been a fresh graduate but I can assure you that I have the potential to do the work and tasks given to me. I will also assure you that when you hire me, I will take my responsibilities seriously and will do my best to satisfy you with all my works that I'll submit." confident kong sabi kahit na malapit na ako umiyak sa kaba, malapit na talaga.
"Hm, okay then. Do you think you saying all of those will make it an advantage for us to hire someone like you?" I got speechless, for at least a second but I gathered myself up and smiled to at least hide all the nervousness.
"Of course not, Sir. I am capable of being overly confident but I'm also capable of proving whatever it is that I said." He have me an amused smile of his before nodding again.
Okay ba na puro tango yung sagot niya sa'kin? May mali ba akong nasabi? Wala naman diba?
May iba pa siyang mga tinanong na agad ko rin namang nasagot. Kabang-kaba ako pero kinaya ko hanggang sa natapos na.
"That'll be all. We'll just call the number you put here in your résumé to update you. Thank you for your time." Sabi niya, I gave him a smile bago ako tumayo.
"Thank you, Sir." sabi ko. Nung palabas na ako, nagulat ako nung tawagin ako ni Sir kaya napalingon din ako agad sakanya.
"By the way Miss Vivianne, don't try to do it, instead put your mind and heart to the work and do it. Tristan." He said making me stop for a short while before smiling.
