The next day, naligo agad ako at kumain so I can go at the hospital. Kailangan ko malaman kung kamusta yung dalawang taga bantay ni Leah.
I used my car para mas mabilis at para diretso na din ako sa company after ko pumunta sa ospital.
I bought them breakfast first para naman may makain sila at hindi na sila mag-abala pa umalis.
Mabilis ko narating ang ospital and I went to Leah's room. I opened the door thoroughly kasi baka natutulog pa sila.
I saw Tristan and Eli peacefully sleeping. I put the food down at the table. I didn't bother to wake them since I don't know if they slept early or late.
I went to Leah and held her hand. I whispered, "Please wake up. We're waiting for you. We miss you."
I hoped to atleast have her finger move but there wasn't any movement at all.
Binitawan ko na yung kamay ni Leah and decided to just write something na mababasa nila Tan pagka nagising na sila. I found a paper in my bag. So I wrote:
I bought you both food. Please eat them. Sleep well you two. I'll text Tristan if I could go here at noon or not. I'll be coming here after work with Micah. See you later! -Viv
After writing that, I decided to go to the company. It was still 8:30 in the morning when I arrived there. Si Riley lang ang nakita ko doon sa loob.
"How is Leah?" He asked.
"Ah, she is stable for now but still unconscious . Baka matagalan pa daw ang pag gising niya." I said at nilapag na ang gamit sa table ko.
"Viv, can I ask you something?" He asked then looked at me.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked him.
"Don't take me wrong but, how did you tell that Sir Tristan was the one?" He asked and I was a bit shocked kasi who would have thought na ang isang lalaki na katulad niya ay magtatanong ng ganito.
"Well, its not really about all the about the looks, Riley. Kasi when it comes to love, you should base on the personality. When the person you like is pretty and trendy but her personality is a bit trashy. Wag ka na magdalawang isip to stop the feelings you have for her. But, if the person you like is simple but is kind, knows how to do her responsibilities and balance her life then go for it." I said and smiled at him.
"Who's the lucky girl ba?" I asked him.
He turned red at umiwas ng tingin.
I just laughed at what he did.
"Promise not to tell anyone please." He said.
"Sure. Its good to know na pinagkakatiwalaan mo ako noh." I said and chuckled.
"Well, Sir Tristan has a sister named Kath. I've known her since high school. We were classmates. Basically, Kath and I were really close. Pero nung nag graduate na kami ng college, we parted ways." He said.
Ate Kath and I were close din dati. She supported me on having a crush on her brother. She was like my sister too, actually.
"Ah! Si Ate Kath pala! Good for you! Do you still communicate with each other?" I asked him.
"Mhm... Sir Tristan's secretary said she will be here later. Dahil absent daw si Sir." He said. So nag-absent pala talaga si Tan huh.
"Try confessing." I said.
"Its not that easy." He said.
"But i-" someone went in the office.
Napatingin kami ni Riley and I saw Ate Kath. She's still the stunning and gorgeous Kath I knew since then.
Umiwas si Riley ng tingin.
"Good morning po!" I said.
Lumingon siya saken and I saw her eyes widened.
"Vivianne? Is that you?" She said at lumapit saaken.
"Yup! I missed you!" I said and smiled at her.
"I missed you more! You're working under Tristan pala ah!" She teased.
"Usap tayo!" She said at hinila ako.
"Sure but before that." I said.
"Hm?" She asked.
"Kath, this is Riley. I know you know him." I said.
"Riley? Oh! Riley! Is that really you?" She asked.
Riley nodded and smiled a little.
Lumapit sakanya si Ate Kath and hugged him.
Based on what I saw Kath whispered something to Riley that made him smile.
"Tara na Viv! I still have questions for you." Ate Kath said.
Liningon ko si Riley and I smiled. He smiled back.
"So! How are you after all these years?" She asked.
"Fine! You?" I asked and smiled sweetly.
"I'm good too!" She said.
"Do you and my brother talk often?" She asked and gave a meaningful smile.
"Of course, Ate Kath." I said. Well,he's my boyfriend after all. I guess Ate Kath doesn't know that yet.
"OMG! Really?" She shrieked.
"Yes, Ate!" I said and laughed.
"You still like him? Please tell me you do!" She said.
"I'm still inlove with your brother." I said and heard my phone rang.
It was Tan! Timing din toh pag tumawag eh!
"Hello?" I said.
"Baby, thank you for bringing us breakfast." Based on his voice kagigising niya lang.
"Sure, baby. I'm with your sister by the way." I said and smiled at Ate Kath.
"BABY?!" Ate Kath shouted.
I laughed at niloud speaker ang call.
"Tan, talk to your sister muna." I said.
"Hoy kapatid! Ano mo ba talaga itong si Vivianne huh?" Ate Kath said.
I laughed at that.
"I forgot to tell you. Well-" Ate Kath cut him off.
"Direct to the point na kasi!" Ate Kath said na halatang naiinip na.
"Gosh okay! Vivianne is my girlfriend!" Tristan said.
"OMG!!! Why didn't you tell me?" Ate Kath said.
"I forgot. Now, give the phone to Viv." Tristan said.
"Yes?" I said and laughed a little while looking at Ate Kath. Kinikilig siya and I can't help but laugh at her reaction.
"Text or call me if my sister bothers you." He said.
"Hoy! Hindi ko naman guguluhin si Vivianne! Close kaya kami!" Ate Kath shouted.
"She wouldn't be bothering me." I said.
Tinanggal ko na yung loud speaker.
"Text me if you're going here at noon or not, okay?" He said.
"Sure." I said.
"Love you." He said.
I smiled and told him, "I love you more, baby."
Then we ended the call.
"Ilang months na kayo, Vivianne? Ba't hindi ko toh alam? OMG! Ang saya ko!" She said.
Nagpatuloy ang pag-uusap namin hanggang sa nagpaalam na ako dahil I need to finish my work.
I went out Tristan's office at umupo na sa upuan ko. I saw Riley smiling kahit wala namang pwede niyang rason para magsmile. I guess what Ate Kath told him never left his mind.
I did my work and luckily, nagawa ko ang kinailangan kong gawin before lunch break. So I texted Tan saying that I'll come there at lunch time.
Nagpaalam na ako that I'll leave early for lunch break dahil naisipan kong ipagluto sila Eli at Tristan.
Out of nowhere, I decided to make Leah's favorite. Pasta.
Dinala ko na ang pasta papunta sa hospital. I walked towards Leah's room. I went in and got shocked on what I saw.
