"Baby." He said while caressing my fingers. Kanina pa kami nasa sofa feeling ko kaming dalawa lang yung nasa condo na toh. Sina Leah at Micah naman kasi hindi lumalabas.
"Hmm?" I asked not looking at him.
"Mom wants to meet you." He said na nagpagulat saakin.
"WHAT?!" I shouted.
"Hey! Don't shout!" He said and chuckled.
"P-Pero, paano y-yan?" I asked na kinakabahan na.
"You're stuttering, are you that nervous to meet her?" He laughed.
"Her? Mom mo lang? Dad mo hindi?" I asked out of confusion.
"He passed away years ago." He said then smiled bitterly.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know." I said and looked at him.
"It's fine. Mol wants to meet you tomorrow at lunch." He said and smiled.
"Agad?!" I shouted.
"Stop screaming!" He said at tinabunan ang tenga niya.
"Sorry naman." I said.
Bukas na bukas agad? Wala manlang bang one week bago kami magkita? Kailangan bukas agad? Shetz naman oh!
"Don't be nervous, baby. She knows you already so, no pressure." He said at umakbay saken.
"Huh?" I asked.
"She knows you since college. My sister being so nosy kaya nalaman ni Mom na may gusto ako sayo. Tsss" He hissed.
"Ohh..." I said and looked at him.
"What time tomorrow?" I asked.
"Lunch time. I'll pick you up. Wala ka rin namang trabaho bukas since its Sunday, right?" He asked.
"Mhm.." Natatangi kong nasabi at kumalas na sa pagka akbay niya para pumili ng damit para bukas.
I opened my cabinet to pick my options. Magdedress ba dapat ako? Pants? Skirt? Ano ba?
Naglabas ako ng apat na damit na pagpipilian. Tan was behind me.
"What are you doing?" He asked at umupo na sa kama ko.
"Picking an outfit for tomorrow." I said.
"Should I wear a dress? Or magpants nalang ako? Formal ba dapat yung suot ko?" I asked at nagkamot ng ulo.
Ano ba naman kasi yan! Ang short notice naman eh!
"Whatever outfit you wear, I'm sure you'll look good." He said and pulled my kaya naupo ako sa lap niya.
"Theres no time for compliments!" I said at sinubukan kong kumalas sa pagkakayakap niya sa bewang ko.
"Just pick an outfit and you'll be good." He said.
Kumalas ako sa pagkakayakap niya at umupo sa tabi niya.
"Shouldn't you go home now?" I asked and cupped his face.
"I'll wait for you until you go to sleep." He said and held both of my hands that are cupping his face.
"Kanina ka pa andito. You should take a rest now. I know pagod ka na." I said and gave him a smile.
"Being with you gives me energy whenever I'm tired, baby." He said and gave me a quick kiss.
I smiled and continued picking for an outfit for tomorrow.
After a few moments, I then decided to just wear an off-shoulder top and pants para medyo comfortable. Tan agreed with my choice too.
"I'll go to sleep now." I said and smiled.
"Go home now." I added and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll go once you fall asleep, baby." He said.
Tumango lang ako at humiga na para makatulog.
"Good night, baby. I love you." He said and I felt him kiss my forehead.
I smiled before ako kinain ng antok.
The next day, thankfully, hindi ako nanaginip about anythjng. I woke up early so I got the chance to cook our breakfast. Leah and Micah woke up minutes after I cooked breakfast. Sakto lang yung paggising nila.
"I have plans this lunch time." I said and drank from my water.
"Aalis ka?" Micah asked.
"Yeah." I said at niligpit ang pinagkainan.
"Ako na dyan, Viv. Where are you going?" She asked.
"Ipapakilala daw ako ni Tan sa Mom niya." I said and smiled at her.
"WHAT?!" Leah shouted.
"REALLY?!" Micah shouted.
Oh diba! Pati sila nagulat din. Hayst.
"Unfortunately, yes." I said and smiled.
Pumunta na ako sa kwarto para makapag higa higa muna ng saglit bago maligo.
Before I shut the door, Leah and Micah shouted, "WE'LL HELP YOU WITH YOUR MAKE UP!"
"Haha! Thanks girls!" I shouted back kahit nasa iisang unit lang naman kami.
