The next day, Leah and I were up early.
"You call each other with your first names pala ah!" sabi ni Leah sabay tulak sa'kin. Of course, teasing will always belart of our lives.
"He was the first one to tell me to do so!" Reklamo ko but my smile made it's way out so I can't hide it anymore.
Leah and I just ate bread for this morning since naubusan na din kami ng grocery namin. Though bread wasn't bad, we both got full just because of it.
"Le, by the way, Yuki wants to sleep here. Baka for tonight lang. Tumawag siya kagabi saying he wants to sleep here." I gave her a heads up knowing that she'll just smile since I know for a fact that he wants to see my brother as much as I do.
"Sure! Does he know I'm here?" she asked before taking a sip from her glass of water.
"Yup, I told him last night. We'll be picking him up sa mall at the food court at 12:30." I saw her nod before I went to the bathroom.
After getting ready we went to my car to go to the company.
"Oh, shoot!" I shouted making Leah kind of jump while driving.
"Why? What happened?" Asked Leah na ngayon ay hindi na masyado maka focus sa pagdrive.
"I forgot to tell Yuki na may dinner tayo mamaya! Sir, I mean, Tristan invited us for dinner later. Treat niya daw. And he'll ask Eli if he wants to join." I explained, kind of worried about how Leah is driving since she isn't fully focused.
"Really? Thats so thoughtful of him. Just tell Sir Tristan later, I'm sure he'll understand." She's right. Tristan would understand, right?
We went to the office quickly since this moring will be the start of the meeting. Sabi ni Tristan half day lang so it wouldn't be quite a hassle for us to pick up Yuki on time.
I saw Tristan going to the conference room, he looked at me and smiled, I smiled back. Why does he need to smile that sweet! Leah and I went to the conference room also since we were told to go directly there once we arrive.
Pagpasok namin, there were so many people already. I saw Eli and he was looking at Leah then me he waved, we waved back at him before sitting down on the vacant chairs.
After hours, the meeting ended. I checked my watch and saw that it was 12:10 already.
I nudged Leah beside me, "Leah, its past 12 already baka andun na si Yuki."
"Wait ayusin ko lang gamit ko." There were a few things of her to fix so it wasn't really that long for me to wait for her which I was silently thankful for.
After a few minutes we rushed to the parking lot, nakita ko si Tristan so I asked Leah to just pick me up sa front door since I need to talk to Tristan about Yuki coming over and joining dinner, if possible.
"Sir!" I shouted, trying to get his attention, I stopped when Sir Tristan looked at me and made his way towards me.
"How many times have I told you to drop the sir and call me Tristan?" It was more like a threat but it didn't actually hit me that hard to be afraid.
"It would be impolite for me to drop the formalities when we're in the office, Sir." I said, matter-of-factly.
"Doesn't matter. So, are you going to say something?"
"Ah, yes. About sa dinner." I started and was about to continue when he cut me off.
"You're not going?" he asked, dissapointment was evident i his voice.
"Huh? Hindi. Pupunta ako but my brother will be with me. He's going to be staying with us overnight. So baka kasama siya sa dinner mamaya. Is it okay? If its not, okay lang, I understand." I smiled to reasssure him that it'll really be okay if he says 'no'.
