Days were the same except for the work the kept us busy for the past few days. Our works kept was adding every single day, all of us are exhausted the moment we go home. It was as if every person in the company is experiencing so much. Weeks after, my officemates planned a night out, I declined kasi baka sa bar sila pupunta. They said a little dinner lang daw sa restaurant na medyo fancy, this would be the treat for ourselves daw since we survived the "week of torture" they said. Pumayag na ako since "dinner" lang naman daw. They planned it on Sunday para wala daw kaming duty.
Leah was very excited. She was the one who was the most excited compared to everyone. Leah picked her outfit the day before, she also insisted to pick mine. She picked an off-shoulder dress na color white and heels and on the other hand, she picked a sleeveless dress na color blue and heels for me. She aso insisted to put makeup on me tomorrow.
"I'm so excited for tomorrow!" Leah shouted.
"Its just dinner, Le." I said trying to calm her down.
"Kahit na! We deserve this!" Leah said at niyugyog niya ako.
I just laughed at her action.
The night went by fast, para bang isang oras lang yung tulog ko. Leah was awake already. She made french toast for breakfast.
"Its a few hours before our dinner!" Leah said so happily.
"Tsk. Why are you so excited for later? Is Eli going to be there too?" I asked.
"Well, uhm... yes!" She said and squeaked.
Kaya naman pala ang saya at excited siya. Her boyfriend is going to be there. I wonder if our officemates know that.
"Alam ba nila na kasama si Eli? Baka magulat sila na kasama mo na yung part ng nasa ibang company." I said and took a bite from the toast.
"Yeah, I told them yesterday! In fact, your boyfriend is going to be there." I heard her say just after I drank water.
Nabuga ko bigla yung tubig dahil sa sinabi ni Leah. What? Boyfriend?!
"Who told you na boyfriend ko si Sir?" I exclaimed ang looked at her as if she's at fault.
"Ay! Hindi pa ba?" Leah said and laughed.
"Hindi ko siya boyfriend! Baka may gusto na yun sa iba. I bet hindi ako yung type niya." I said na tila nanghinayang sa sinabi.
"Ikaw yung gusto nun! Yayakapin ka ba niya kung hindi? Huh? Vivianne?" She said sabay akbay saken.
"Ewan ko ba!" sabi ko sabay punta sa CR pala maligo na.
Before I close the door, I heard Leah laugh.
Hours passed by fast. Leah and I started wearing our dresses. Leah looks so good and I can't lie about that.
"You look so good!" sabay namin na sabi, we laughed because of what happened.
"Let me put on mine makeup first then I'll do yours, okay" She said at nilabas na yung makeup kit niya.
"Sure." I said at umupo na muna sa couch.
After a few minutes, Leah finished her makeup and as always she looks gorgeous.
"Let me do yours, Viv." Leah said and smiled.
"Okay." I said at pumunta na sa harap niya.
She finished doing my makeup fast.
"There. Just a light one since it that is what suits you best." Leah said.
"Eli will pick us up any minute now, sabi niya siya na daw maghahatid saatin. Tristan will be there too."
