The following day, nag-ayos na ako so I can go to the company early. Leah is still on leave dahil she still needs rest.
Leah and Micah kept on teasing me about my post last night.
"Iba din naman magpost!" Leah said and laughed.
"Akala ko matagal pa bago yung face reveal." Micah teased.
"Loko kayo kahit kelan!" I said at hinakot na ang gamit ko para makaalis na.
"Alis na ako! See you later." I said at lumabas na para makasakay sa sasakyan ko.
Dahil maaga pa naman, bumili muna ako ng iced coffee at dumiretso na sa company.
I arrived at the company moments later. I saw Irish, Riley and Angela na nag-uusap.
"Good morning, Vivianne!" Irish greeted.
Eme said the same thing while Riley just smiled at me.
"Magandang umaga." I greeted back with a smile.
Nakaupo na ako sa upuan ko when the three of them went towards me.
"Kinikilig ako sainyo ni Sir!" Eme said.
"Kaya nga! Ako din!" Irish teased.
"Happy for you." Riley said.
I smiled at them sweetly.
"Nga pala Viv, bakit I yung caption?" Eme asked.
Sa totoo lang hindi ko alam pero ang sinabi ko nalang ay yun ang sinabi ni Tan.
We proceeded in working ng tumapak na sa 9 ang orasan. Kaunti lang ang gawain ko ngayon. So there's not a lot of stress building up compared to yesterday.
I got to eat my lunch kasama sina Shane.
"Vivianne! Nakita ko post mo kagabi!" Shane said and she meaningfully smiled.
"Ah, yun ba?" I said at iniwas ang tingin.
"Did you sleep together last night?" Shane asked.
Nagulat ako dahil ang straightforward niya magtanong. Well, there's nothing wrong with that. Nakakagulat lang talaga tsss.
"HUH?!" I shouted.
"H-Hindi ah." I said na nauutal pa.
Tsss dami kasing tanong.
"No need to shout Viv." She said at tumawa. Nakitawa nalang din kaming mga iba.
"Stay strong sainyo ah!" Shane added.
I just smiled at her.
Pagbalik sa company, I finished work a little early than usual. Kasi nga konti lang gawain ko ngayong araw.
Nagpaalam muna ako kay "boss". Yikes! Si Tan nalang ang pangit pakinggan eh.
Pumasok na ako sa office niya and I saw him nakatayo sa gilid at may kausap siya sa phone.
"Sure Roni. I'll see you too." I heard him say.
WHO THE HELL IS RONI??? I asked myself.
Kalmado ako sa labas pero sa loob? Pwede na ako makabasag ng vase sa kung sino.
"Yes, baby? Do you need anything?" He asked and smiled at me.
"Uuwi na ako. Wala naman na akong gagawin." I said coldly. Naiinis talaga ako!
"Hatid na kita." He said at nag-ayos ng gamit.
"Wag na. May sasakyan ako." I said at lumabas na.
I heard him call my name bago ko isara ang pinto ng office niya.
Inis akong lumabas ng companya at nagdrive pauwi sa condo. I know that I should've asked him who the hell was that Roni pero shocks hindi ko makain yung pride ko.
Dire diretso akong pumasok sa kwarto ko para magbihis at humiga sa kama.
My phone was vibrating and I saw that Tan was calling. I answered it.
"Viv? Are you angry?" He asked.
"No." I said.
"You heard who I was talking to a while ago huh?" He asked and let out a little chuckle.
Hindi ako nagsalita. Pero halata sa mukha ko na naiinis ako.
"Roni is my childhood friend." He said.
"I didn't ask." Sabi ko. Pakipot pa ako hayst.
"I can almost hear what you're thinking right now kahit sa call lang." He said.
"Wag ka na magalit. I'll bring you girls some dinner. Wait for me there." He said.
"Okay." I said and ended the call.
Childhood friend lang naman pala eh. Tsk. Pero, diba minsan yung nga childhood friend nila may gusto sa lalaki na may girlfriend na. Shocks! Baka sa huli siraan kami ng Roni nayan tapos sila magkatuluyan ni Tristan.
"AAAAAAA!!!!" I shouted out of frustration.
"Viv!" Leah shouted and opened the door of my room. Micah was there too.
"What happened?" Micah asked at lumapit saakin. I can see that their worried.
"Nothing." I said at umiwas ng tingin.
Someone knocked on the front door.
It was Tristan. Vivianne and Micah looked at him and looked at me too.
"What?" I asked them.
"Nag-away ba kayo?" Leah asked and looked at Tristan.
"Small misunderstanding." Tristan said and went towards me.
"Punta kami sa sala. Usap nalang muna kayo." Micah said.
"I brought you three, food." Tristan said and handed the paperbag to Micah.
"Thanks." Micah said at lumabas na sila ng kwarto ko.
"Baby." He called me.
"Ano?" I asked na halatang naiinis.
"Roni is my childhood friend." He said and touched my hand.
"I know. Sinabi mo kanina." I said without even looking at him.
"You're jealous huh?" He said and laughed a little.
Tiningnan ko siya ng masama and said, "No."
"Denying it will lead you to nowhere Vivianne Scarlet." He said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Fine! Yes, I'm freaking jealous." I shouted at him.
"No need to be jealous, baby." He said and hugged me.
I didn't hug him back.
"You wanna meet her? She's coming in the company tomorrow." He said.
"No thanks." I said at bumitaw sa yakap niya.
Baka masabunutan ko pa pagkakita ko.
"I'll introduce you to her. She's kind." He said and held my hand.
"Edi siya na mabait." I whispered.
"I heard that." He said.
"I'm sorry, okay?" He added and tried to find my eyes.
Tumingin ako sakanya and said, "Sorry din."
He hugged me tight and I hugged him back.
Bumitaw siya sa pagkayakap namin and he planted a soft kiss on my lips. Nagulat ako but I kissed him back.
"Thats enough." He said and laughed.
"Let's eat?" Aya niya.
I nodded.
He kissed my cheeks and forehead before going out of my room.
Leah and Micah were eating pagkalabas namin.
"Okay na?" Micah asked and smiled.
"Tapos na ba yung LQ?" Leah said and smiled too.
"We sorted things out. Small misunderstanding lang naman. No need to worry." Tan explained.
Kumain na din kami and Tan went home afterwards. He said susunduin niya daw ako bukas para sabay kami papuntang company. Pumayag naman ako.
Before sleeping, hindi ko matanggal sa isipan ko yung si Roni. Pupunta siya bukas sa company. Sana hindi siya yung kagaya ng iba na iniisip ko. I felt my phone vibrate. Tan chatted me.
trist21: still up?
viv_scarlet: yup. Why?
trist21: still thinking about Roni?
viv_scarlet: dunno.
trist21: don't worry. it'll be fine. Promise. Sleep now, baby.
viv_scarlet: okay. You should sleep too.
trist21: loveyou baby.
viv_scarlet: iloveyoutoo!
After that natulog na ako. Its as if I'm feeling good after Tan chatted me.
The next day, I was up early than my alarm. Naisipan ko mag-ayos para mas maaga na ako ngayon.
It was 8 in the morning when Tan texted me that he's on his way.
Minutes later, he arrived and sumakay na ako sa sasakyan niya.
"Good morning baby." He said and kissed my hair.
"Morning! I'm up early today." I said and smiled.
"Oh! Thats why your hair is dry." He said.
"Excited to meet Roni?" He asked.
My smile turned into a frown.
I just nodded kahit hindi naman talaga.
"I know you're not excited. I'll be right next to you later." He said.
I smiled at that.
"I love you." I said and kissed him on the cheek.
"I love you more, baby." He said and pulled my hand to kiss it.
