The next day, I looked at Tristan to see if he was still sleeping. He's using his phone and I saw him scrolling through his social media. Hindi muna ako nag-ingay since gusto ko makita kung ano yung nga ginagawa niya. I saw him scrolling through my feed! He's reacting to almost all my pictures, ang tagal na ng pictures na yun.
"Good morning, Tan." I said and smiled at him.
"Gising ka na pala. Good morning!" He said at tumayo na.
"I'll prepare breakfast for the three of us. Maligo ka na." He said and kissed my forehead.
"Pwede naman ako na yung magluto, ikaw nalang muna maligo." I said at lumabas na ng kwarto.
"No, baby. I insist." He said and nagsimula ng mag-ayos ng iluluto niya.
Naligo nalang ako at nagbihis. Inayos ko nalang yung damit niya para maganda naman tingnan.
"Tan, I'm done. Maligo ka na din. I'll wake Leah." I said.
"Sure, ready na yung food. Kumain na kayo." He said.
"Sabay sabay na tayo kumain." I said.
"Thank you for making breakfast, Tan. Babawi ako sayo." I added ang hugged him.
"Sure, baby." He said.
Ginising ko na si Leah and Tristan was ready too. Kumain na kami and Leah took a shower afterwards.
"Dito na kayo sumakay sa sasakyan ko. Let's have dinner later. Please call Eli, tell him na magkikita tayo sa restaurant na gusto niyo later." He said and smiled at us.
Nagkatinginan kami ni Leah. She was smiling hanggang makarating kami sa company.
Sabay kaming tatlo papasok sa office kaya saamin nakatuon ang atensyon nilang lahat.
"Good morning Sir, Vivianne and Leah!" They said in unison.
"Magandang umaga." I said and smiled.
Tumango lang si Tristan sakanila.
Before he went to his own office he kissed me on my forehead and whispered, "I can't have lunch with you today, make sure to eat. I'm sorry. I love you."
"I love you too." I said and smiled sweetly at him.
Dumiretso na siya sa office niya at umupo na din ako so I could do my work.
"Naks naman! Sabay silang tatlo pumasok sa office!" Irish exclaimed.
I just smiled at nagpatuloy na sa ginagawa.
"Official na talaga kayo!" I heard Angela say.
"Ba't sabay kayo pumunta dito?" Eme asked.
"Kaya nga." Said Chloe
"Kagabi kasi itong si Vivia-" I cut Leah off.
"Ah, kasi there were some things that happened." I said and gave a warning look at Leah.
She chuckled a bit and continued doing what she was doing a while ago.
Lunch break arrived and I asked Leah where shes's going to eat. She said yung malapit lang daw dito. I went to eat lunch with her.
"Did you call Eli?" I asked her.
"Why?" She asked before eating her food.
"About dinner later. Tristan told us kaninang umaga diba?" I said and started eating too.
"Ah! Oo nga pala. Let me call him." She said at nilabas na ang kanyang cellphone.
She dialed Eli's number.
"Love?" Leah said.
"Tristan said that we're going to have dinner later, are you free?" Leah asked.
Few seconds later, Leah said, "Ganun ba?"
I looked at her curiously.
"Sige. Bye. Love you." Leah said and ended the call.
"He's not coming." She said.
"Huh? Why?" I asked. This is the very first time that Eli declined us in having dinner. Tuwing aalis kami he would always clear his schedule just to go with us.
"May importante daw siyang gagawin." She said without even smiling.
Leah and Eli have been a couple for more than a year now. She loves Eli so much. I remember one time in college. We were graduating students back then, Eli and Leah would always sneak out of their houses just to see each other. Leah's mom would always call me if I'm with Leah and syempre dahil mabait naman ako I would say yes eventhough hindi naman talaga. I've been shipping them before Eli even had feelings for Leah. They're a couple that's mature. Hindi sila tulad ng iba na yung hanap sa isa't isa is just to love and for someone to be there. Both of them loves each other so much kaya hindi lang love yung hanap nila sa isa't isa, they're trying to find themselves. Kung sa iba makikipaghiwalay para lang hanapin yung sarili at para mag grow as a better individual, sakanila naman, they're masters in doing that together. They're a perfect couple actually.
We went back to the office and started doing work. Leah wasn't her usual self. Hindi siya masayahin ngayon. She doesn't have any emotion on her face, actually. I hope everythings fine though.
I went to Tristan's office since I'm done with my work. Kinausap ko siya about Leah.
"Tan." I called him.
"Yes, baby? Do you need anything?" He asked and looked at me.
"I'm done with work. Uhm... can I talk to you about Leah?" I asked at umupo sa nakita ko na upuan.
"Why? What happened to her? Is it about Eli?" He asked.
Nagulat ako kasi I was going to ask him about her and Eli.
"Leah called Eli kanina. Eli said na hindi daw siya makakasama sa dinner natin. Its a small thing pero when it comes to Leah, she's sensitive about it." I said worried.
"Wag ka mag-alala. Eli has a plan. He's doing something for Leah." Tristan said.
"Huh? Ano?" I asked.
"Eli said that he's going to propose to Leah maybe tomorrow or someday within this week." He said and smiled.
"REALLY?!" I shouted.
"Hey! Lower your voice. Baka marinig ka sa labas." He said and laughed.
"Oh! Sorry." I said and smiled.
"So yun na nga. Let's just have dinner later. Asked Leah if she still wants to have dinner with us. Kung ayaw niya, tayong dalawa nalang." He said.
I nodded as a response.
Lumabas na ako and I saw Leah fixing her things. I guess she's done too.
"Viv." She said.
"Pwede ba na hindi ako sumama mamaya? Masakit kasi ulo ko." She said.
"Ah sige. Magpahinga ka nalang. Uwi na tayo. I'll go with you." I said.
Nakarating kami sa condo and diretso lang siya sa kwarto niya. She didn't even say anything.
I texted Tan saying that she doesn't want to go with us. Tan said that he'll pick me up after 5 minutes.
Tan arrived so I just texted Leah saying that aalis na ako and if she needs anything just call me.
We arrived at the restaurant and Tan ordered our food.
"I'm still worried about Leah." I said.
"Don't be. Eli texted me saying he'll propose to her tomorrow." Tristan said. I guess close talaga sila ni Eli.
"Saan daw?" I said excitedly.
"To Leah's favorite place daw. Sa garden which is surrounded by roses. He asked someone if pwede magdinner din sila dun. He's pretty much prepared actually." He said and smiled.
"I'm happy for them." I said and smiled sweetly. The image of Eli and Leah smiling together makes my heart melt.
Dinner was done and as usual Tristan paid eventhough I insisted that I'll pay.
"You know what." I said habang nasa sasakyan kami.
"Hmm?" He asked, eyes focusing on the road while his ears are focusing on what I'll say.
"If something wrong happens again because I'm happy. I'll try to stop me from being happy again." I said.
"You know, Viv. Eventhough many unexpected things happen in our life. We shouldn't stop our happiness from going into our life. Some things maybe temporary but know that my love for you will never be temporary." He said and held my hand tightly.
"Thank you. Please know that I'll do the same to you. Just please help me recover from this small anxiety of mine." I said and squeezed his hand.
"I'll be here for you always My Love." He said.
Having someone who loves me more that I love myself is something I should cherish. Not everyone in the world meets someone like this. I may sound cheesy but, the man I'm spending my days with starting today, will hopefully be the man I'll spend my entire life with.
