Momentary Bliss

Nagpapahinga ako dito sa gilid. Napagod ako bigla sa practice.

"Buong gabi ako nagreview, Leah! Tapos malalaman ko na bumagsak ako? Putek Leah hindi ganun ka dali tanggapin yun!" I heard someone shout.

Napalingon ako sa direksyon na iyon and saw a girl, crying in her friend's shoulder. I don't know why but it hurt me too.

May sinabi yung kasama ng babaeng umiiyak sakanya and I saw her breathe deeply and tried to remain calm. Tumingin sa paligid yung babae and when her gaze went to my direction ay nag eye contact kami. Agad naman akong umiwas dahil baka isipin niya na chismoso ako or what.

Tumayo na ako para makalayo doon.

"Fuck!" I cursed when I realized who the girl was.

Vivianne Francisco, the girl who Ate Kath kept on telling me. Ate Kath said that she has a crush on me.

The next day, I saw Vivianne with the girl she was yesterday. They're inside the basketball court. Nung nakita ko sila bigla ay agad nawala ang focus ko sa bola kaya natamaan ako sa ulo.

"Shit!" I cursed loudly when the ball made a big impact on my head.
"Huy! Tristan! Okay ka lang ba?" A friend asked.
"Oo, okay lang. Natamaan kasi ako ng bola sa ulo noh? Hindi naman siguro masakit!" I said sarcastically.
"Okay naman pala eh tara na next game!" The same person said.
"Fuck you!" I said and kicked him.
"Diba hindi masakit?" He asked na halatang naguguluhan.
"Ikaw tamaan ko ng bola sa ulo, do you think it wouldn't hurt? Tsss." I hissed.
"Tara na kasi sa infirmary." Another guy said and pulled me up to help me go there.

I took a glance where Vivianne and her friend was. Nakatingin sila saakin and I saw so much concern in Vivianne's eyes. She really likes me, huh?

The next few weeks and months, there wasn't a day that I didn't see Vivianne. I've seen her cry, smile, laugh and get angry. Whenever I see her, there's this feeling that I want to see her again and again.

"Spin the bottle tayo!" My classmates said.
"Kapag hindi sinagot yung truth dapat i-dare!" Another moron said.
They have the audacity to play since wala kaming prof.

The bottle faced me at first spin! What the hell?!

"Ako magtatanong!" A classmate said.
"I didn't even choose between truth or dare!" I said.
"Sige na nga! Truth." I said and looked at the person who's suppose to ask me.
"Who's the person you like?" She asked and smiled.
I was suppose to say a female actor's name but she said, "in the campus."
Oh shit!
"I don't know!" I said and looked away.
"Hindi mo ba gusto yung 3rd year nayun? Sino nga yun?" My friend said.
"Vivianne Francisco!" Another friend shouted.
"WHAT?!" Almost all girls said.
"I don't know!" I denied.
"Tsk! Dare it is!" A girl in front on me said.

We're here infront of Vivianne's classroom. Why do I even need to do this?

The dare was to give a flower to her. My classmate had one, I don't even know why! Baka binigay niya sa iba pero nireject siya lol.

"Dali na! Vacant nila oh!" Jessica said and sumilip sa room nila.
"Call her, then. The dare was to give it not to call her and give it." I said and looked at them.
Buong section ata namin kasama. Tsk!

Anna knocked on their door to get their attention. Shit! Lahat sila napatingin!

Si Anna naman pumasok na sa loob.

"So, hi! I have a friend here who wants to give someone here a gift." Anna said and looked at me with an evil smile.

Ba't ba ako pumayag dito? Shit!
