Not less than ten minutes, Tan arrived at our condo. Pinagbuksan ko na siya ng pinto. He's in gray tshirt and black shorts topped with a jacket. He brought ice cream too.
"Here." He said.
"Thank you." I said and kissed his cheek.
"Welcome." He said and smiled sweetly at me.
Pumasok na kami sa kwarto ko. But before that, nilagay ko nalang muna yung ice cream sa freezer dahil busog padin ako.
Umupo si Tan sa gilid ng higaan ko habang ako nakahiga na.
"You sure you're not sleepy?" He asked.
"Sure. Nakahiga ako kanina pa pero hindi pa ako dinadalaw ng antok." I said and looked at him.
"Micah and Leah aren't home yet. Its getting late." I said worried. After saying that, Leah texted me.
Leah:
May binili kami ni Micah, don't worry about us. We're not in trouble. Love ya!

Ingat kayo ah! Loveyou!
Nakahinga ako ng maayos after receiving that message from her.
"I'm bored." I said at lumigid sa higaan.
"Me too, baby." He said and laughed.
"Do you have any topics you want to talk about?" I asked out of boredom.
"Hmmm.... well, you and Riley are kinda close. What do you talk about often?" He asked.
Nagdalawang isip pa ako sagutin yun dahil baka maiwala ko yung trust ni Riley saken.
"Lovelife." Natatangi kong nasabi.
He just nodded.
"Do you any questions you want to ask me?" He said and looked at me.
"Higa ka muna dito." I said at tinapik ang empty space na higaan sa tabi ko.
"Why do you love me?" I asked and made my attention focus at him.
"Easy." He said and pinched my cheek.
He cleared his throat first before explaining.
"Falling inlove with you was never easy. I love you not because you're pretty and sexy. But because you know how to balance life. You know how to make the other person love you more, naturally. Hindi ka katulad ng iba na todo effort. Yes, you put in effort to everything you do, same goes with me. But, my heart fell inlove with you effortlessly." He said and let out his super sweet smile.
I turned red immediately.
"How about you?" He asked and I can see that his whole attention is at me.
I smiled and said, "You've been my one and only since college. I can't deny the fact that you're really handsome, baby. You know that my mind and heart fight sometimes, right? But there's this time where my mind and heart suddenly felt the same feeling towards you. Some may say that I based my love on the looks, but, the truth is I base my love in the personality. Love is useless when the one you have got the looks but not the mind, you know?" I said.
"Yup, that is true." He said and hugged me.
I can smell his scent. His scent has always been so good. Hindi iyon nakakasakit sa ilong pag-inamoy.
"Stop smelling me." He said.
I laughed and burried my face in his chest. He hugged me even tighter.
Being clingy is really something I didn't know this guy likes. It's sweet, actually.
Moments after, I looked at the clock and saw that its already 11:30 in the evening.
"You should go home now, baby." I said at bumangon na sa pagkakahiga.
"I'll stay." He said so confident as if he doesn't have any work tomorrow.
"You have work, baby." I said and laughed.
"Kath will be there tomorrow." He said at hindi manlang bumangon sa higaan.
"Wala kang damit dito." I said and looked at him.
"May dala ako." He said and pulled me kaya napahiga ulit ako sa kama.
"You planned this, huh?" I said and laughed at him.
He just laughed and kissed my hair.
"I want ice cream. Let me get it." I said at bumangon na.
"I'll get it for you, stay here." He said.
Tumango lang ako.
Mabilis lang siya sa labas.
"Here's your ice cream." He said at inabot iyon saakin.
"Thank you!" I said and smiled at him.
"Leah and Micah arrive already." He said.
"Really? Ang late na ah." I said.
"May mga pinamili eh." He said.
"CR lang ako, baby." He added at lumabas na ng kwarto.
I looked at the clock and saw that its twelve midnight already. Happy Birthday Self!
Nagulat ako when I heard and saw Leah, Micah, Eli and Tristan open the door of my room and they were singing happy birthday. Leah was holding a cake. Micah was holding balloons. Eli was holding gifts. And my boyfriend is holding a bouquet of flowers with chocolates.
I'm at awe seeing them. Hindi ko na napigilan ang pagbuhos ng luha ko because of so much joy I'm feeling.
"Happy Birthday, Viv! Blow the candles." Leah said at inilapit saakin ang cake.
"Wish muna!" Micah said and smiled.
Nagwish na ako and I blowed the candles.
Eli greeted me.
Tan walked towards me and gave me the bouquet and hugged me.
"Happy birthday, My Love." He said and kissed my forehead.
"Akala ko nakalimutan niyo na." I said still crying.
"We wouldn't." Leah said and winked at Micah, Eli and Tristan.
"Thank you all so much for this." I said and pulled them for a group hug.
"You are always welcome, Viv!" Leah said.
"Sana hindi na kayo nag-abala. Pwede naman tayo maghanda mamayang gabi." I said and laughed.
"Syempre iba pa din kapag eksaktong birthday mo talaga!" Micah said and winked.
"I agree." Eli said and smiled at me.
We cut the cake so that the five of us could eat kahit na madaling araw palang. The cake was my favorite flavor! Chocolate! They really know me that much huh?
"We should have lunch later, tayong lima lang!" Leah said excitedly.
"Ayaw niyo ba ng dinner?" I asked. Kasi usually dinner talaga eh.
"You're reserved for tonight." Micah said and winked.
"Huh?" I asked out of curiosity.
"We'll go somewhere later. Just the two of us." Tristan whispered in my ear.
I smiled at him.
"By the way, shouldn't Eli be going home now?" I asked dahil may trabaho pa siya.
"I changed my schedule. Every Saturday and Sunday, off ako." He said.
"Thats great." I replied and smiled at them.
"Where will you sleep?" I asked him.
"Sa kwarto ni Leah. You guys have an extra mattress, right? Malaki naman ang kwarto ni Leah. We can fit there." Eli explained.
"Pwede naman na dito na sa kwarto ko si Micah." I insisted and looked at Micah.
"Wag na! I'm fine with Eli's decision." She said and smiled at Tristan and me.
Less than an hour later when we all decided to go to bed. Magkatabi kami ni Tan since wala naman saamin yung mattress kasi nasa kabilang kwarto.
"Thank you for today, baby." I said and planted a quick kiss on his lips.
"Everything for you." He said and smiled.
"What was your wish a while ago?" He asked.
"Kapag sabihin ko baka hindi magkatotoo." I said na laughed.
My wish was:
I wish the people I have now, will have such an amazing future ahead of them. It would be good to see them be happy and experience many happy memories even if I may not be with them in those times.
