I was awoken by a sound of someone talking. I slowly opened my eyes to see who was talking and mind you its midnight!
"I'm resting when I'm with her. Let me just do my thing." I heard Tan's voice.
Tiningnan ko siya and saw that he's on the phone talking to someone.
"I know what I'm doing." He said with such a serious tone.
Lumingon siya saakin at nang nakita niya na gising ako ay agad niyang binaba ang tawag.
"Are you okay?" He sat on the bed and caressed my hair.
"Mhm... who were you talking to?" I asked with such an unknown voice of mine.
"Just someone. Nothing to worry about. Let's sleep?" He asked and kissed my forehead.
Tumango lang ako at ipinikit na ang mga mata ko.
I felt Tan cuddling with me from behind bago ako tuluyang nakatulog. Feels nice.
In the morning, we were still in the same position. Umikot ako para magkaharap ang mukha namin ni Tan. He's awake already nung tiningnan ko siya.
"Good morning, my love." He said and kissed my head.
"Morning." I said and closed my eyes when I felt him kiss my forehead.
"Who were you talking to on the phone last night?" I asked still using my morning voice.
"A-Ah. Just you know, s-someone." He said at umiwas ng tingin.
He's stuttering. I don't know why.
"Tristan Ford." I called him.
"Hm?" He asked not doing an eye contact with me.
"Look at me." I said, serious.
"Why?" He asked still not meeting my gaze.
Bumangon ako to get his attention. And it worked, napatingin siya saakin.
"What's the problem?" I asked.
"N-Nothing." He said and smiled a little.
"Sir Tristan Ford." I said with such authority in my voice.
"Wala nga. Let's get something to drink." He said at inakbayan ako para bumaba.
Hindi ko nalang siya ulit kinulit about sa phone call. He keeps on changing the freaking topic!
Its still early in the morning so the other's aren't up yet. Tan and I are now drinking our own drinks. Hindi ko siya kinakausap but I can feel him looking at me.
"Whats with the face, baby?" He asked at lumapit saakin.
Hindi ko siya sinagot and took a sip on my drink instead.
"If you're mad at me, I'm sorry." He said at nilagay ang takas ko buhok sa likod ng tenga ko.
"You look cute when you're mad." He chuckled and looked at me with such meaningful eyes.
"Ewan ko sayo." I said and bit the insided of my cheeks to prevent myself from smiling.
"Smile for me, please. When you're smiling, it makes me smile too." He said still looking at me.
Napatawa ako dahil sa mukha niya na parang batang gustong gusto na makita ang matagal niyang hinihiling.
"There you go." He said and laughed.
He took a picture out of nowhere but I didn't mind.
"I wish I could see you smile like this everyday." He said and gave me a faint smile.
I pinched his cheeks and said, "You will, my love."
He hugged me tight after I said that. Makes me feel so happy, like genuine happiness.
"Ang aga aga ang sweet na agad. Nakagat na ata ako ng langgam." I heard Micah say kaya agad akong bumitaw sa yakap ni Tan.
Leah and Eli just laughed kaya napatawa na din kami ni Tan.
"I'll cook breakfast!" Leah said at dumiretso na sa ref para maghanap ng pwede niyang maluto.
"Let's walk outside for a moment." Tan whispered to me.
Tumango lang ako sakanya.
"We'll be outside for a moment!" I said at lumabas na sa rest house.
