I went inside our unit and saw food at the counter, I figured that maybe Leah was already asleep.

After eating, I got ready for bed pero 'di ko pa rin matanggal sa isipan ko yung nangyari kanina,

He drove me home! He really drove me home!

Napatili na ako sa kilig, I guess I'm still inlove with him after so many years. I decided to text Tristan so I could say thank you.

:

Hi, Sir! Thank you for making time on driving me home!

He immediately replied right after I sent him my message

Sir Tristan:

Drop the 'sir' and call me Tristan. You're welcome Vivianne. Its getting late, you should sleep. Good night!

I didn't bother to reply back since he might be getting ready to sleep.

While fixing myself, a random thought hit me again. I'm happy.

Knowing na masaya nanaman ako, nakakatakot din.

"Sana walang mangyaring masama kahit ngayon lang." I whispered before deciding to drift off to sleep.

I woke up early feeling fine. I got ready for work and prepared our breakfast. Leah was up a little late than usual.

"You're up early huh?" I gave her a small nod before I saw her make her way to the bathroom to take a bath.

We finished eating and went to the office afterwards.

Dumiretso na ako sa table ko and at the side of my eye, I saw Kacy looking at me. I tried to smile at her but for some reason umiwas lang siya ng tingin. Its as if she's guilty about what happened.

Weeks past and the same scenario happened, I tried to get to be close to her and throw what happened away but she kept on avoiding me every time she gets the chance to do so.

I've been working for weeks and I could say that I'm pretty used to this already.

"There will be a big meeting tomorrow. Be sure to get ready because the other company will go here tomorrow to discuss another project with us." said the secretary.

"Yes Ma'am." We all said in unison.

Pumunta saken si Leah na naka ngiti, I tilted my head, trying to think about why she has that meaningful smile on her face.

"Yung company nina Eli yung pupunta bukas!" She clasped her hands together, grinning.

"Really? Kaya pala boses mo yung pinakamalakas sa 'yes ma'am' kanina." I let out a chuckle, she chuckled along with me.

"Syempre boyfriend ko yun eh." Oh, gosh. This girl is too proud to have her boyfriend. Nothing to complain about it though, they're like a match made by heaven.

We finished work a little bit early as usual kaya nauna na kami umuwi ni Leah.

"Viv, Eli will go here later, after ng work niya. Pwede ba?" she asked while walking towards her room.

"Since when did him going her became an issue?" I asked, "but yeah, wala na tayong pagkain though."

"Thats fine, he'll bring food for us. Gutom na rin ako." she said before going inside her room, probably to change her clothes into something a lot more comfortable.

Papasok ako sa kwarto ko when I realized something.

I tried to look for it in my bag, sa sala, at sa table pero wala parin. Shoot!
