Momentary Bliss

There was deafening silence in the car habang papunta kami sa restaurant. So, I decided to talk instead of hearing the unbearable silence in the atmosphere. Though it's quiet, this type of quiet which is uncomfortable was never really my cup of tea.

"So, uhm, Tristan, si Eli ba, andoon na?" I asked, not bothering to look at him but I did see him glance at me before focusig back to the road im front of him.

"I'm not sure but he said that he'll be there once we get there."

"Leah?" I called and turned my body a little to look at where she is.

"Hm?"

"Pwede mo ba tawagan si Eli and ask him kung nasaan na siya? Para magkita-kita nalang tayo." I smiled when I sae her give me a nod. "Sure." She dialed Eli's number.

I don't actually know why but she put the call on loudspeaker for everyone in the car to hear. Typical Leah.

"Love?" Leah said when she saw that Eli picked up.

"Yes? Do you miss me already?" Leah's eyes widened and so did everyone else's including me. I surpass a little giggle after seeing Leah slowly blush her way through it.

"Kidding, Love. Magpaparking lang ako saglit. I'll go in afterwards." Eli then said, I know for a fact that Leah wants to actually hit Eli right but she couldn't because her boyfriend is on the phone and not beside him.

"Tell him to wait sa entrance, I'll drop you there." Tristan said, I can see his smile, maybe because of what happened but I find it cute. He's cute.

"Ah, Love, malapit na rin naman kami eh. Can you wait for us sa entrance?" Leah, who's now calmed down at least for a little, asked.

"Sure. See you here." That's what we heard before Eli cut the line.

"We all know you miss him, Leah." I said earning a glare from her but regardless, she blushed more and more.

"Alam mo, ang asar mo." She looked away, blushing. Ah, Leah's skin is fair enough to even let her a little blush be evident.

Nakarating kami sa restaurant and there we saw Eli waving at us.

"Baba na kayo dito. I'll find a parking space first. Wait for me, okay?" I heard Tristan say before I got down from the passenger seat.

"S-sure, Tristan." I smiled at him before closing the car door and holding Yuki's hand.

"Love!" Leah hugged Eli, of course the other hugged her back. I actually saw that coming. They always do that when they see each other. Just how unseparable can these two get?

"Hi!" Eli said with the same exciting tone of his that he only uses when he talk to Leah.

"Hi, Viv." I greeted him back before seeing his gaze shift from me to Yuki.

"Hi, uh, Eli, this is Yuki. I know na kilala mo na siya since nagkita na kayo dati." Yuki waved and smiled at Eli.

"Yuki? You got so tall! You were this tall back then!" Eli put his hand out to tell how tall Yuki was before, chuckling.

"K-kuya Eli! K-umusta na p-po?" Yuki said smiling.

"Okay lang ako! Ikaw? Tagal natin hindi nagkita ah." Eli said and bent down to level his face to where Yuki's is.

"O-okay din p-po ako." Yuki said, with his oh so cute eye-smile.

"Lets go?" Tristan said out of nowhere making us jump a little from shock.

"Sir naman! Wag kayo manggulat!" Leah exclaimed.

"Didn't mean to, sorry. Tara?" Tristan said then went in. Sumunod na kami sakanya and he said that he already got a table reserved for us, he's prepared.
