We're now roaming around the mall because Leah wants to choose what I'm going to wear for work. Pumunta kami sa isang shop where they sell clothes that Leah and I like. Habang naghahanap ako ng pwedeng bilhin, my eyes widened when I turned to look at Leah.
She's holding lots of clothes.
"Lets go to the fitting room na! Let me see what you look while wearing these." she said smiling sweetly before pulling me along with her.
"Sure." I chuckled looking at how excited she is.
Sinukat ko yung unang damit that Leah said would totally fit me and it surprisingly looked good on me. I didn't expect it to be this... good?
"Ang ganda sayo Viv! You should wear these kinds of clothes more often." She nodded out of her own realization kaya napangiti nalang ako.
"Let me try the next outfit."
Moments passed by, we ended buying 4 outfits for me and 5 outfits for her. Nakakahiya lang kasi Leah said that she'll pay for everything, so that's what happened. We were walking around the mall when I saw Sir Tristan walking towards us.
"Sir, good-" I panicked and looked at my watch to see that it's passed noon already, "afternoon."
"Good afternoon," he responded with a smile of his. He looks way too familiar, this short-term memory loss of mine is not helping at all.
"Can I ask for some of your time?" Leah and I looked at each other for a split second before nodding.
Napunta kami sa vacant bench which I thought would at least be better instead of standing in the middle of the mall as if we own the whole place. Napatingin nalang ako kay Sir, waiting on what he's going to say.
"So, the company actually decided about the hiring for the new employees earlier than expexted." He started, we stayed silent and waited on what we'll hear next.
"Cutting it all short, the company has decided to hire both of you as new employees."
I saw how Leah's eyes widened before her gaze shifted from Sir Tristan to me. I gave her the exact same look before showing a grin.
"Thank you, Sir!" Leah and I said in unison making Sir Tristan surpass a chuckle.
"You'll be starting tomorrow," he gave us an apologetic look but the both of us were totally fine with it.
"Yes, Sir! Thank you so much!"
"I'm looking forward on seeing you tomorrow at 9 a.m. See you both!" Sir Tristan said before he stood up and waved goodbye at us.
Hindi na namin naitago ang saya namin ni Leah, we both stood up and looked at each other with meaningful looks.
"Tanggap tayo!" sigaw ko, sa lakas ng sigaw ko ay napatingin saamin halos lahat ng tao. Though it was embarrassing, masyado akong masaya para bigyan ng pakialam yung nasa paligid ko.
"Kaya nga! I told you na matatanggap tayo!" Leah said, all confident with a smirk on her face making me laugh.
"Uwi na muna tayo. We'll have time to prepare for tomorrow." sabi ko sabay hawak sa mga pinamili and making our way towards the parking area.
Nasa sasakyan ko kami ngayon, Leah is the one driving since she's better when it comes to driving.
"I can't believe it though! Natanggap talaga tayo." I said, looking outside with a smile on my lips.
