Barriers - Taehyung || Complete

Ch. 18

I woke up this morning with a slight headache. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but I'm thankful that Taehyung made me drink all of that water. Speaking of, I looked to the side of my bed and noticed that Taehyung was gone already, but he left me a message on my phone.

Tae: Right now it is 7AM and I am about to leave your place :(. I found some medicine in your cabinet that will help if you have a hangover headache. TAKE IT. I will see you later at the meeting. Good morning, baby girl. <3 

Baby girl? He has never given me an affectionate nickname before. How cute! I looked at my phone to see the time. OH SHIT! I only have a half hour to get ready! I jumped out of bed and quickly got ready. I didn't have time to actually figure out what to wear so I just grabbed a maroon sweater, black jeans, and wore black and white converse. At least this company allows very casual wear. After finishing getting ready Jongin texted me that he was outside and I grabbed a bottle of water and quickly downed the medicine that Taehyung left for me. 

I greeted Jongin and he took me to BigHit. I went over to my office and saw that Amy was already there. I bowed to her. "Good morning, unnie. How did your day off go?"

She sighed happily. "It was amazing. I haven't had the day off in a long time and I was finally able to relax and do some errands I've been putting off. How did it go yesterday?" She handed me a cup of coffee.

Knowing coffee would really help with my slight hangover I was relieved. "Oh my goodness, thank you." I took a sip. "It went well. I was able to get Taehyung up and ready to leave my place after the incident and the rest of the day went smoothly. I think their tour will be really good."

"Good! Since it went smooth for you I was wondering if it would be okay if I can have more days off. Since you will be leaving in two months I want to have as many days as I can before having to train someone new."

"Of course! Take as many days as you want. Now that I don't have the restriction, the guys and I get along really well."

"Oh good, I'm glad." she handed me her notes for the day. "Everything look okay for the day? Does it match up with yours?" I scanned her schedule and compared it with what I wrote. I nodded. "Alright. So they are making their comeback next week with their new album and title song. So for the next month they will be busy going on music shows."

"Understood."

We continued talking for a few minutes until it was time to head to the first meeting of the day -- the comeback. After having her morning coffee, Amy had to use the restroom and told me to meet up with her in the conference room. As usual I would save a seat next to me and one of the members would sit next to me. The guys filed in one by one and I greeted all of them. Taehyung took a seat next to me. Since none of the executives were in yet, I took out the translator.

"How do you feel baby girl?" he asked with the cute nickname again.

I smiled shyly. "I feel good. Slight headache but the medicine you gave me and the coffee I had are really helping my recovery process. Thank you for taking care of me."

He put his hand over mine under the table. "Of course. Anything for you." The door opened and he took his hand away but it was only Amy coming in. He sighed in relief and put his hand over mine again. "I'm going to be pretty busy for the next month, noona." He pouted sticking his lower lip out more farther than usual. 

"I heard." I frowned at him. "That means no us time for a while, huh." He sadly nodded. "But at least we'll be together everyday. I'll be with you at your shows, cheering you on. And at the end of the month we will be going to America to start your tour. You can see where I came from."
