Ch. 23

After the meeting everyone went home for the day and I stayed a little bit longer to finish up some paperwork and prepare for the next day. Amy stayed with me to compare our notes. 

"So what have you been doing during your days off?" I asked her.

"Oh," from the corner of my eye I could see her blush and she seemed embarrassed. "I was with my boyfriend."

My eyes lit up and I smiled at her. "Aww, I'm happy you finally got some time to spend with him."

She giggled. "Yeah, it's still fairly new, we haven't reached a year yet. We haven't been able to see each other that much since I'm always working but with you here, our relationship is stronger than ever."

"Aww unnie!" I playfully punched her arm. "Is it love yet?"

"I think so." she smiled at me. "We haven't gotten around to saying it yet. But ever since I have had more free time and he's able to get free time a lot, we use those moments to be with each other and he makes it amazing every time..if you know what I mean."

We both laughed. "I'm happy that my being here has made two of my friends very happy in their romantic life. Jongin talks about how being with his girlfriend more has made him very happy."

"He does?" her eyebrows raised.

"Oh, yeah! I even asked him too if he loved her and he said he might even if she's not ready for it. It was actually quite romantic, he said if he ever tells her he loves her and she doesn't feel the same way, he will be patient and show her every day how worthy she is of being loved until she feels the same way."

Amy chuckled. "What a nice guy he is."

After we finished our stuff we both headed to the front of the building. Jongin was waiting outside of the car and same with Amy's driver.

"Hello Nam Sung." Jongin greeted with a smile.

"Hi, Jongin. Lovely evening isn't it?" 

"Yes," he looked at her. "Yes it is."

They both stared at each other for a few seconds, sweetly smiling at each other. I looked back and forth at them wondering what was going on. I slightly closed my eyes in suspicion and when they noticed I was looking they both cleared their throat.

"Good night, Y/n. I'll see you tomorrow." Amy said as she went in her car. 

Jongin held the door open for me and I went inside. "What was that all about?" I asked after he took his seat on his side.

"Oh nothing." he smiled putting on his seat belt. "Ready to go home?"

"Hmm mhm." I crossed my arms with an amused smile. If my suspicions are correct, I'll wait for one of them to tell me. 

Jongin dropped me off and I said good night to him. I headed up to my apartment when I got a text message from Taehyung.

Tae: Noona~~ what are you doing?? 

Me: I just got home. You? 😊

Tae: Me too, just thinking about you. I'm about to get a snack and I wish you were coming with me 😣

I smiled at his message. I love the moments when he acts like a little kid, I find it so adorable. 

Me: Me too. Just be careful, okay? Maybe bring one of the guys with you

Tae: Okay, I'll ask Jungkook. Good night noona, I love you 💕

Me: I love you too ❤
