Barriers - Taehyung || Complete

Final

Four years later, 2024

I slowly opened my eyes to see the early morning sun shining through my window. I blinked a few times to adjust my vision and what was in front of me was beautiful. 

I softly smiled and leaned forward to kiss the top of Taehyung's nose. He stirred in his sleep and then he slowly opened his eyes. When he looked at me he immediately smiled. 

"Good morning." he said and pulled me in closer. 

I rested in his chest where I could listen to his heartbeat and it immediately soothed me back to sleep. 

He heard me start to snore and he chuckled. "Did you fall back asleep already?" 

I hummed and nuzzled my head in deeper. "Your heart is so calming to listen to."

Taehyung pet the back of my hair and rested his chin on top of my head. "Okay, ten more minutes we can sleep. Then we have to get started with our day, okay?" 

I nodded my head and drifted off to enjoy my ten minute nap. 

These last four years have been in one word, amazing. I am still BTS' manager and they are still going strong. During these years it has been different for everyone as a whole group. 

Not too long after I started my job, BTS had a break and released a couple more albums before Jin and Yoongi announced their enlistment to the army. While they were gone, BTS proudly promoted as a five member group, always encouraging Jin and Yoongi. Right before they were done with their service, Namjoon and Hoseok left to do their service. When Jin and Yoongi got back, they had about a month to readjust back to normal life and was back in the studio to start promoting again. 

There was never an interruption between their breaks and the enlistment. Before any enlistment began they talked it out as a group to decide how they wanted to do this. They ultimately decided that going on a hiatus was not an option. They loved too much what they were doing and they didn't want to stop any time soon. So they planned out their comebacks and albums at a time that when they were done promoting, the break they have will be when the members who are gone will come back and the next members will leave. 

Today...Taehyung and Jimin are leaving for their service. 

It's a day that I've been preparing myself really hard for. It was sad to see the other members leave, so I don't know how I'll be when I say goodbye to Taehyung for two years. 

Since he was leaving, we were allowed to spend more time together, so there have been nights when he stays at my place, and vice versa. Thankfully, we became yesterday's news and once the fans realized that I'm not going anywhere, they came to accept and support Taehyung's decision. When they saw how much I really care for the guys, they couldn't find a reason to hate me. There's still the little hate here and there but it's barely even noticeable. 

Everyday I fall in love with Taehyung more and more. No matter how much time we spend together there is never a day I don't want to be with him. Both of us have been learning korean or english and for a couple years we haven't had to use the translator. My korean is still pretty terrible but he is able to understand me as I am able to understand him.

When our nap was sadly over, we finally got up for the day and we fixed the bed together. I was supposed to fluff the pillow out but I could barely do it, seeing as my energy was too low. 

"Hey," Taehyung said taking the pillow from me. "What is it?"

I gave him a sad smile. "I can't believe today is the day."
