Barriers - Taehyung || Complete

Ch. 26

The start of the tour is finally here and we were all excited. Jongin picked me up bright and early to take me the airport where I met up with Amy. One by one the guys showed up and cameras were already swarming. Devoted fans showed up to wish them a good trip and even though they were tired from being up so early, the guys still smiled happily for them. 

After two months of being away from home, I was so excited to be going back. My parents are really excited to meet everyone. And I really want them to like Taehyung. They can't know what's going on but if I ever get the chance to tell them, at least they'll know that Taehyung is a good guy. 

After Amy and I checked in our bags, we walked over to our boarding gate and sat in the chairs. 

I looked over to my right and saw that there was a coffee shop. "Do you want any coffee, Amy?"

"I'm good, thank you. I think I'm just going to sleep on the plane." she responded. 

I looked at her and noticed she was looking a little bit pale. She was taking deep breaths.

"Are you okay? You look like you're sick."

"I can't be sick. I was completely fine last night, didn't feel a thing."

"Maybe you're nervous about traveling?"

She lightly chuckled. "No, it's not that either. I love traveling. I'm just feeling a little nauseous, probably because I haven't ate or drank anything since I woke up."

I didn't know what else it could be so I decided to get her something to help with her nausea. I walked over to the cafe and ordered myself a coffee and Amy a ginger ale. As I was paying I looked over to my seat where I left Amy and I saw her running away to the bathroom, covering her mouth. My eyes widened and I quickly thanked the cashier before running to the bathroom, drinks in both hands. 

I pushed the door open and I could hear the sounds of hurling in one of the stalls. 

I slowly walked up and knocked on the door. "Amy, is that you?"

I heard her groan out. "Yeah."

"Do you need anything? I brought you a ginger ale."

"The ginger ale will be enough, thank you. If it's okay, can you wait for me outside?"

"Of course."

I walked out of the bathroom and went back to my seat. 

A few minutes she came out holding on to her stomach. She definitely looked a lot better, there was color coming back to her skin. I handed her the drink and she sat down. I suddenly started thinking about how this wasn't the first time she was feeling like this. 

"How do you feel?" I asked.

"A little better," she said taking a sip of her drink. "I think I just needed to let that one out. I don't feel as nauseous anymore."

"You know," I started. "This isn't the first time you've been like this. When I saw you in the office the other day, you had talked about feeling sick, and it was in the morning. Do you think what you're experiencing could be morning sickness?"

She scoffed. "Morning sickness? That would mean I'm pregnant. And.." she trailed off. 

I looked at her and she was starting to put the pieces together. She then gasped and held on to her stomach again. 

"No way," she said quietly. 

"Well think about it, you have been seeing your boyfriend a lot lately. I'm sure you guys weren't just staring at each other this whole time."

"Do you think they sell pregnancy tests here?"

"In the airport? I don't think so. But I can come with you to get one when we land."

"No," she shook her and smiled at me with reassurance. "You have your parents to see and I need to help set up for the concert. I'll be fine."

 A few minutes later, boarding was beginning and we stood in line waiting for the ones in front of us to get in. After our tickets and passports were checked, we boarded the plane. We were greeted by the flight attendants as we walked through the aisle to find our seats. The guys were already seated since they're celebrities and get to board first. We passed by the guys and Taehyung glanced at me. I gave him a wink and he subtly smiled back at me. 

 We put our carry on's away and sat down. Amy immediately asked for an eye mask and once she got it, she went to sleep before the plane even took off. I guess sleeping will help with her nausea. Once the plane took off and it was safe to walk around the cabin, I got my breakfast and started my day. 

Luckily the plane had wifi so I hopped on my laptop to let my parents know that what time I would be arriving at the airport. After talking with them for a little bit, I looked over my documents to organized for Amy. Now that she's stressing about a potential pregnancy, I want to make sure her schedule goes smoothly. 

I was listening to music through my ear buds when I heard a ding go off on my laptop. I opened up my messages and saw that I got a message from Taehyung. I looked over at him and all I could see was the back of his head. 

Taehyung: Good morning 😘 I wish you were sitting here with me

Me: Me too. But at least we're on the same airplane. And I can look at the back your cute head 😉

Taehyung: At least we can message each other too. I'm glad what I type is immediately translated to English

Me: Same here. You can read what I write in Korean 

Taehyung: So you're taking the next few days off, right? You're going to see your parents?

Me: Yeah! I'm really excited to see them. I can't wait for them to meet you 😊

Taehyung: I'm a little nervous now

Me: Don't be! Just be yourself and they'll love you just like I do ❤

Taehyung: ❤❤. Are you going to talk to them about moving?

I hesitated from typing a response. Talking to my parents about potentially moving is going to be the most nerve-wracking conversation I will have with them. 

Me: I am. But I don't know how to tell them

Taehyung: Why not tell them you found someone?

Me: Well they can't know that we're dating. The less people that know, the better 

Taehyung: Hmm. You could say you're dating and just not mention who

Me: Maybe. They might bombard me with all of these questions. It's still a lot to think about, but I'll figure it out

Taehyung: Okay. I love you. I'm going to take a nap

Me: I love you too 

I shut my laptop and reclined my seat to get comfortable. I played a movie on the chair screen and listened to it while I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
